Kairi's Pov 🥤

After doing some work I went out with Mattia to go buy ice cream to celebrate.

"Bro you barley did two hours of work and you want to celebrate?"

"Duh it was hard to focus I was considering jumping out of the window." I say as we sit down waiting for our order. We both laugh joking around.

"Kairi? Oreo shake and chocolate dipped cone, your orders ready." The women says at the window.

I start to get up but notice that mattia is already at the window."Oh okay." I sit back down as he approaches me again. He hands me my shake and I say thank you. Oreo shakes are bomb as fuckk. (they really are, the mcflurry's from mcdonald's 😍)

"I thought you wanted ice cream?" He says.

"Ermm well I don't think you know since your brain is old age dinosaur shit but, ice cream is in a shake."

"Shut up." He says flipping me off.

"N o."I say back.

I hear the front door open and Y/N walk in. "Hey baby-" I look over at her and see her makeup smudged and stained tears.

"What happened why am I barley finding out right now." She says weakly before falling against the wall crying, feet tucked under her arms. She looks blankly at the wall then turns back to me as I rush to her side.

"What? What happened, are you hurt?"

"Chloe is dead."

Y/N's Pov 🥤

"I don't care if I said I didn't care for her anymore, I still do, it still felt like she was my friend. I'm scared, why would someone want to hurt her." I say almost yelling the last part. Kairi is next to me rubbing my back trying to calm me down.

"Sorry baby, repeat what you said please." He says softly to me tilting his head so he's looking at me.

I sigh before starting to talk again,"They found her body in the lake at the park...She left a note saying how-," I take a deep voice, my voice starting to quiver again,"no one loved her." I fall into Kairi's arms sobbing endlessly. I wipe my nose and continue. "She jumped off the bridge Kai." I look up to him, I notice my reflection in his eyes and get up to the mirror in the living room.

My mascara is under my eyes, darkening them. My hair is puffy everywhere it could possibly be, I straighten it down a little and grab a makeup wipe wiping off the dry tears and mascara. I turn back around to Kairi engulfing me in a hug. I hug him back as he says sorry to me multiple times.

"It's okay Bubby you don't have to say sorry for something you didn't do. I'll be fine, just, yea i'll be fine." I say taking deep breath's in. It's all your fault.

"Neither is it yours." He says back. I smile and walk away towards the bedroom about to have another breakdown.
