Sorry for not updating frequently i haven't been feeling so well, I will now though,
Kairis's Pov
I get up from the couch and walk towards the kitchen as Y/N continues watching her show.
"We're are you going?" She asks me as I put on my coat.
"Just going to see a friend." I say shrugging as I grab my keys.
"Okay be safe." She says as I head back over to her and give her a quick peck on the lips.
I nod back at her as I exit the room, jogging down the hall to the elevator. The soft carpet below me makes small thumps as my feet hop up and down.
I click the button and step inside of the elevator. I get a text message as i'm waiting for the shaft to go to the main floor.

I grunt as I put my phone back into my pocket making sure no one in the elevator saw the exposed messages. I push past a few people and get out, quickly exiting the glass doors. Looking around, I spot a shadow on the far corner of the sidewalk.
I shove my hands into my coats pockets as I speed over to catch up with the person.
"What do you want?" I whisper as I pull their shoulder to turn them around.
They cackle as they get rid of their hood, moppy blonde hair softening around their pale face. I glare into their familiar icy blue eyes.
"Answer. Me." I say dropping my hand, as I look around.
"Don't be so rude, wouldn't want your secrets to be exposed." They say with a smirk.
My eyes widen as I remember what they know.
"So i'll be nice and take your offer," They say as they walk around me with arms crossed," Y/N."
"What?" I spit out whisking around quickly.
"You heard me. I want Y/N." He scoffs and stops, dropping his smile.
"Come on, you know she likes me better. Childhood friend, 'besties'" He says cooing at the last remark.
"You won't even be able to touch-" I begin to say balling my fists.
"Ah ah ah, careful there bud. She only likes one Kairi, and we both know who it is." He says wagging his finger in my face, leaning in before laughing softly and backing away.
I squint my eyes over at him, trying my hardest to not carve his smile out of his face, leaving him to bleed to death in the cold alleyway.
"So? You'll take the offer, or...would you rather let everyone know the disgusting murders that you've done." He says placing his hood back on his head, fixing his hair so it's inside of it.
"I'll think about it."
Y/N's Pov
I sigh as I turn off the TV placing the remote back on the coffee table. I look down as I play with my pajama strings worrying we're Kairi is.
I'll text him. I glance over at the far edge of the couch, we're my phone is charging at. I reach over and grab it, swiping it open. I click my messaging app and send him a small text.

I look at my phone for a little bit more biting my lip, still nervous. I turn off my phone and i'm standing up to go to the restroom when I hear it ring. I grab it excitedly and smile widely and open it to a text message from Kairi. My smile fades as I see its Kairi M.
I respond to his text by saying i'm about to go to sleep and shut off my phone, continuing to get up to go to the restroom.
Kairi's Pov
I walk back into the lobby as a few students heads turn as I make my way to the elevator.
"Hey, Kairi!" I hear from behind me.
I stop and turn around plastering a fake smile on my face," Hey! Aliz!" I say waving.
I place out my hand for her to handshake but instead she gives me a hug. "Oh okay.." I mutter under my breath as I hug her uncomfortably.
"So, how have you been!" She asks clasping her hands to together.
"Actually i've-" I'm interrupted by the elevator door opening behind me. I smile nervously as I motion that I have to go.
She nods quickly and walks away after saying a quick bye.
I let out a breathe as the door closed shut, leaving only me in the cart. I tap my foot along to the beat of the the classic music as I wait for the elevator to arrive at my room level.
The door opens and I step out, walking to my room. I reach into my pocket searching for my keys and unlocks the door.
I quietly place my coat back on the rack and keys on the shelve.
"Y/N i'm back." I yell softly as I walk into the hallway. I notice a small beam of light from the bedroom door so I walk towards it.
"Y/N why didn't you say anything," I say after I open the door to her reading a book on her bed.
"You haven't read my messages." She says closing the book and slowly letting it flop down into her soft white covers.
"I'm sorry, I didn't have time to check my phone."
"But you said you were with a friend..surely." She asks taking off her ponytail.
"Yes but-"
"It's fine, forget about it," She says smiling softly, letting her hands flop down to the side of her waist."I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
I return the smile and walk over to her, wrapping my arms around her neck. I let my head fall on top of hers and hug her carefully. She tilts her head so that she's comfortably resting it on the inside of my elbow.
I let go and walk back in front of her,"I'm going to get ready for bed alright?" I say opening the door again and dimming the lights.
"Okay." She replies getting under her covers.
I smile once more turning my back as instantly, the worrisome thoughts of losing her come back. I have to get rid of him, or else he'll take the only thing I have.
