"Daddy! Wake up!" Aurora shouted at her father who was screaming in his sleep.
Aurora kept yelling until her throat hurt. When she saw that her method wasn't working, she jumped off of her bed, rushed over to her door, and threw it opened since it was cracked. Aurora's little legs carried her down the stairs and she opened the front door.

The night air was warm as she sprinted across her yard towards her neighbors house. Mrs. Düren will know what to do, Aurora thought as she reached the other house. Aurora balled her hand into a fist and she knocked on the door yelling for help. A light came on and the door opened. Aurora stared at Mrs. Düren who wore purple pajamas.
"Aurora what's wrong?" She asked
"It's my daddy. He won't wake up!" Aurora replied with tears falling from her eyes.

Breanne slipped on shoes and she grabbed a bag with medical stuff. Then she went out and followed Aurora. They went into the house and they rushed upstairs. Aurora led Breanne to her room where Adam was in bed shaking.
"Daddy!!" Aurora yelled.
She tried to go to him but Breanne picked her up and set her in a corner.
"Stay here okay?"
Aurora looked at Mrs. Düren and she nodded her head in understanding. Then she watched as Breanne went over to her father.

Aurora hugged her knees to her chest and she tried to calm herself down by softly singing 'Shooting Star' to herself. It didn't work. She watched as Breanne started yelling at her dad.
"That's not gonna work," Aurora said.
Breanne knew it wasn't going to work since Adam had stopped screaming twenty seconds ago. Then she brought out her phone. Aurora lost her mother and she's not going to lose her father to, Breanne thought as she dialed 911. A few seconds later she told the person what was the matter then she hung up.

"Aurora you're going to come with me," Breanne said, "your dad needs to go to the hospital."
She saw Aurora jump up from her spot and she wrapped her little arms around her legs. Breanne reached down and picked her up. She felt Aurora bury her head into her shoulder as she heard the ambulance come near. A few minuets later, paramedics put Adam on a stretcher and put him in the ambulance. The next thing Aurora knew, she was in Mrs. Düren's car following the ambulance to the hospital.
