1] God doesn't need an orator
To spread His message around.
He doesn't need a mighty preacher
To tell others of His love.
He used a stammering tongue
To set the Israelites free.
He can do the same
Through you and me.

He just needs an empty vessel
Shaped by His design.
He just needs an empty vessel
Filled with His power and might.
He just needs a humble spirit
To show the world He rules.
Yes...He can use some ordinary people
Just like me and you.
2] God doesn't need a strong voice,
Soprano or bass.
He just needs a heart overflowing
To sing His praise.
He used a shepherd boy
To write so many psalms.
How much more can He use us
If we just learn to obey His commands!

I wrote this poem/song a long time back but I didn't know where the diary in which I wrote it was. But I found it recently and decided to publish it. I was inspired to write this after listening to this song.
And who knows, it might be turned into a Christian song too after a bit of modification. My dad does Christian music composing as a hobby and I've given him the song so hopefully, in the not so distant future, it'll have a tune of it's own. But dad's quite a perfectionist (maybe that's where I got it from XD), so he'll take quite a while and he'll be behind my life with all his corrections. Wish me luck! Welp! >.<
