With a smile on his face, he watched the world go by,

A world he wished to unfreeze.

As he stood by the wayside waiting for her,

The girl from his childhood dreams.

Around fifty years ago, he had met her.

She had made his dream a reality.

But since two years, she had disappeared from his life,

That was one thing he couldn't believe.

And so every eve, he bore the cold wind

As he waited for her to pass by

He wasn't ready to give up on his dreams

Even if it took him his whole life.

Her black shiny hair, her warm smile

That's all he dreamt about

And he would do just about anything

If she could be with him for an hour.

People around called him a fool

They accused him of being blind

They told him to forget all about her

And that someone else could fill her void.

One starry night, as he sat by the window

Waiting for his cup of tea

He saw her walking gently towards him

Looking as vibrant as she used to be.

He said,"I've searched all over for you.

Where have you been, luv?"

She smiled and said, "I've come to take you home.

Let's be together and have fun."

I was with you all along

I was looking at you from up above

I was in the rainbow that made you smile

The place where I am in is lots of fun.

And so I've come to take you

To a world beyond your dreams

Where this world's beautiful flowers rest

In a heaven without any worries.

She gently placed her hands in his

And together, they flew away

To an unknown world, where angels lived

Oh yes, true love never fails!

Let me tell you the truth, this kind of selfless love has almost gone extinct from the world we live in

Let me tell you the truth, this kind of selfless love has almost gone extinct from the world we live in. I hope we'll be able to renew the love we used to have. Cause life isn't about money, fame and prosperity. In the end, we have to leave everything and go.

No matter how big our house is, in the end we'll be buried in a wooden coffin. Just some thoughts for the soul.

Hope I didn't bore you with my poem spam this week. Have a great week. Thanks for supporting me. I love you all.

Lotsh of wub,
Abby ~❤️❤️❤️❤️
