The next day around 5AM when the Wakanda ship docked Vision found Wanda in the kitchen, "May I speak with you before I go?"

Wanda nodded, "Of course." She was confused by how proper he was acting, more so than usual.

"How about outside?" Wanda followed Vision outside to the back desk, she crossed her arms in the morning chill and leaned back against the railing.

"Vis, what it is?" She looked at him confused.

"Wanda..." He sighed, "It's...not you...it's me..." Wanda raised her eyebrows, listening to the cliché words coming from Vision's mouth, "Um...this new life, this second chance...I would like to start new." He nodded.

"Vision," Wanda pushed herself away from the railing, "Are you..." She looked away and back at him, suddenly she realized a weight lifting, "Are you breaking up with me?" The love they had shared, the understanding and care for one another was a bond that Wanda would always hold near to her heart. But when Vision returned, it wasn't the heartfelt welcome and love that she felt her body should have produced. Wanda wondered if her relationship with Bucky had something to do with it, how falling in love brought her back to life in a sense.

"Wanda, I want your happiness. I...I don't think I can make you happy anymore." Vision was hurting, but he tried to hide it the best he could so Wanda wouldn't pick up on it. "Yes, I am breaking up with you." Vision smiled though, "I need your friendship more."

"You have it." Wanda nodded, Bruce had knocked on the sliding glass doors to get Vision's attention, they were ready to take off.

"Wanda." She looked up at him, "I like the soldier." He nodded, "He seems to care for you." Wanda nodded in return, "I'll see you soon." He ducked his head lightly, then turned and went back into the house. Wanda stood on the desk, her arms crossed over her chest as she began to wonder what brought that on, but also how she only felt relieved in the moment. Suddenly she was overwhelmed with emotion and headed for the door.

Going back inside Wanda left her cup of tea on the counter and headed up the stairs, she passed her bedroom and made a beeline toward the end of the hall where Bucky's door was. Wanda didn't bother knocking, she pushed the door open, slowly closed it behind her and approaching Bucky's bed. The soldier was sound asleep, his arms tucked underneath his pillow. Wanda reached the side of his bed and as she did the soldier must've woken up, he quickly went to throw a fist at his intruder but was stopped with red magic, his eyes widening as he saw who was in his room. "Wanda!" He sighed loudly, "You can do that." He pulled his hand back as he released it and laid back into his pillow. "What are you doing?" He turned and looked at his alarm clock and groaned when he saw the time. When she didn't say anything, he looked back up to her quickly, "What?"

"I love you." She took a deep breath, watching Bucky slowly sit up in his bed, "It isn't fair and it may never be...but..." Wanda couldn't finish her sentence, because the soldier had grabbed her around her hips and pulled her into the bed, wrapping his arms around her and placing his lips against her own. Wanda relaxed into the moment, feeling relief wash over her once again. She didn't feel heavy, she felt light as a feather in his arms.
