"Mutants...the enhanced...superhuman." Professor X starred out at the group in front of him, "What you call yourself, it doesn't matter. Not when there is a common enemy. We are all one."

"Yeah, except most of us were born like this. We didn't volunteer to be this way." A woman with large round eyes and a long white stripe in her hair stood with her arms crossed and glanced toward Wanda.

Wanda raised her brow, "Some of us had to do what we could to protect our home."

"If you knew anything about what we've gone though, you wouldn't ask for a life cursed." The woman shrugged, Wanda stepped forward, "Go ahead," she stepped forward too, "Curse me witch."

"Rouge!" Professor X called out, Rouge stopped glaring at Wanda and turned her attention to him, "We need to work together. To trust one another. Otherwise, Magneto wins. You of all people should know that." Rouge looked back at Wanda, then stepped back into place.

"That's just it Professor," A man with spiky blonde hair and blue eyes spoke up, the moment Rouge stepped back he put his hand on her back, "We don't know them. We know what we have heard about them. It's not easy to trust them off the bat."

"At least you've heard of us. I've never heard of the Iceman before." Bucky smirked, the man shook his head.

"You most of all. How do we know you're not under your hypnosis or what you call it?" The man shook his head and stepped forward.

Rouge grabbed his arm, "Bobby." Bobby stepped back.

"Look, I'm sure we've all done things we're not proud of. Professor Xavier is right, it doesn't matter what we call ourselves. We're all human, we make mistakes." Sam placed a hand on Bucky's shoulder.

"I'd feel better if the real Captain America was here." Bobby said, "Now him I could trust."

"Enough!" Beast stepped forward from standing beside Professor X, "This is what Magneto wants. If we cannot learn to trust one another, we're doomed."

"Thank you Hank." Professor X held up a hand, "Now. Why don't we do a little...show and tell?"

One by one the X-Men and Avengers stood up and showed their powers, a team knowledgeable of their own is a strong one. Sam stood with Bobby, they sparred a bit, Sam threw the shield around but Bobby rose ice walls from nothing to block the attacks, "That's cute." Sam laughed.

"What are you without the shield?" Bobby smiled, rubbing his hands together.

"Falcon." Sam shrugged as they walked back to their seats.

Bobby shook his head, "I don't get it?"

Scott stood up with Storm who smirked at him, suddenly outside turned dark and rain began to pour. "Oh, fun!" Scott pointed to the door, "Can you make it..." Suddenly he was thrown against the wall from wind, but right before he hit he shrunk.

"What the?" Storm looked over near the wall but couldn't find him, Scott popped back to normal size behind her and poked her shoulder. "Tiny man, got it."

Bucky walked into the center of the room with Logan, "Metal on metal?"

"I've got a little more than that kid." Logan cracked his neck and stretched his arms out, blades popped out of his knuckles.

"Logan, show and tell...not real batter." Hank called over.

"Takes all the fun out of it." Logan retracted his claws, "Whatcha got soldier?"

"A thing or two." Bucky shrugged as Logan lunged at him. The two men sparred a bit, getting a few hits in now and then. As Bucky struck Logan in her face he realize he split Logan's skin near his chin, "Oh shit, I'm sorry."
