Hey guys, please, disclaimer; I am not a law student neither am I a lawyer, and I was far too lazy to ask questions. I just wanted this chapter to finish. So please, excuse all errors. I'll deal with them when I'm editing. Thanks.
Three days after they arrived in Prague, Jamal and Halima finally stepped out of their hotel room. Halima waited in the beautiful lobby while Jamal conversed with the male receptionist.
She watched the receptionist nod over and over, his smile growing with each nod. "What was that about?" Jamal laughed and pulled the lapel to Halima's dark blue overcoat and thumbed her cheeks.
"None of your business dear wife. Let's go." Halima nodded smiling and walked with him, he had warned her to wear slip on sneakers because they had a lot of walking to do. The way they walked seamlessly reminded Halima of a conversation they had the day before.
"How many children do you want?" Halima had shifted closer to him to partake of his body heat before speaking. "Three. At least two brothers that Jariyah can terrorize." Jamal laughed a low belly laugh in reply.
"This is the Wencelas square, this place is so full and right with history," He turned Halima slowly and pointed to the statue, it was a man on a horse and it was in the centre of a big intersection. "This man, Wencelas was killed by his own brother who wanted to be the Duke of Bohemia." Halima shook her head.
"This place," He waved his hand at the huge square. "Has been a horse market, before it became this beautiful place." Halima turned around and around.
"Let's walk to that beautiful flowery, you can take beautiful photos there." Halima nodded and followed him mutely, the history of the place had opened her kind to another stage of wickedness human could go.
"Pose there." Halima sighed and stood at the side, there were pink ixora flowering everywhere even though it was October. "Smile oo." Halima sighed again.
"How can ones own kin kill one because of a simple post? That isn't easy to digest." Jamal walked over to her and kissed the top of her covered head. "It's the way of humans. That's why we pray to have family that fear Allah." Haliam nodded, not saying anything.

About two weeks later, they were back in the United Kingdom, flew into the Heathrow airport and took a three hour train ride to Dover where Mummy was staying with her sister and Farida who was on break.
"You had fun in Prague?" Halima giggled and lay back on the lounge chair she was sitting on in the gazebo with Mummy. "Yes. It was beautiful." Mummy gave her a side glance.
"Jamal is good to you?" Halima nodded gratefully. Jamal was exceedingly good to her. "As should be his duty. No need to congratulate him." Halima laughed and let go of the chair which kept sliding her dangerously to the pool side.
"After this court case, what do you want to do next?" Mummy asked while she cut up some Belgian apples. Halima itched her head before replying tentatively.
"Well, return the money Summayah lent me to start Sadiyya's place, get hold of a busniess loan from bank of industry to start my hair care line." She glanced at mummy before saying wryly. "There are many hair care brands out there, I know." Jamal's mother patted her hand and asked,
"Will you back down because there are a hundred others? Why don't you for once believe in your own abilities?" Halima sighed, she had worried for a while that she would not be able to enter the hair care market due to intense competition.
"My only busniess advice, which I adhere to very doggedly is; be a quality product. In all ramifications, people save up to buy quality, they defend quality. That's all." Halima nodded with a smile.
"Thank you ma." Mummy offered Halima a cut up apple in a paper plate in response

"My Lord, all three of the defendants are my clients. They're all law abiding members of the society, good sons of their states, infact, they haven't been booked by the FRSC since they began driving, my clients are nothing short of good people, this is why I am perplexed and flabbergasted by the allegations of these women, the allegations are preposterous, as are the complainants themselves." The defending counsel, took a bow as he went back to his seat.
This was the end of the arraignment, this would spur the police into action, and start a trial at a time chosen by the presiding judge, but if the presiding judge said the case didn't hold water, it would be thrown out.
Hafsat Idris got up, adjusted her cap and walked to the front. "My Lord," She bowed to the judge. "Today, after nearly four years, my clients, three of the plaintiffs, Halima, Kemisola and Lahima have finally agreed that The defendants have to pay for their heinous crimes. The three defendants took advantage of the naveity of the three women, at three different times might I add and took their innocence in a ravaging manner that only beasts can emulate.
Your honor," She gestured towards the only woman on the team of three judges and said "Halima here." She pointed in Halima's direction, "Was a young lady, full of life and vibrance before the three defendants snatched it from her wickedly. What was her offence? She was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Your honor, before you, are documents that prove that they paid off Kemisola to quiet her after they raped her and battered her body.
Who does that? They're high ranking members of the armed forces, they're supposed to protect this women, why did they ravage them instead?" She bowed to them and that marked the end of her arraignment closing remark.
They took a recess of fifteen minutes and during that time, Halima, Kemi, and Lahima conferred with Hafsat and Hajarah to know their chances at getting a trial.
"I'd say about seventy percent. Those documents are very implicating and I didn't submit them at first so that their counsel won't get time to prepare. See how he was caught by surprise." Halima who had seen his face knew that it was true. She looked around the courtroom and saw that the three evil brothers had not attended eventually, their lawyer had said at the beginning that they would come later, citing work commitments.
When the judges came back in, they all stood and sat when they sat. The female Judge took her seat, a lower step from the presiding male judge.
"On this day, November the first twenty-twenty, we hereby request all the international passports of the defendants, no travelling out of state and no reaching of the plaintiffs except through their lawyers. We're very interested in this case and from all evidence we have seen, there is need for deeper investigation and gathering of evidence. We have set the trial date for two months from now, December the first." He hit the gavel and said, "This is our judgment." Halima and Kemi who had held each other's hands as soon as the judges came in, squeezed their hands.
"Alhamdulillah." Halima muttered. This was what Hafsah and Hajarah wanted. A good trial so they would be sentenced for a long time.

So, guys, how was it? Are we getting closer? I think so. I wanted to make the chapter a little longer since we're doing Eid Something today, but alas, laziness entered me.
First, eid Mubarak people, may the Almighty answer our prayers and bless us abundantly this season. Please enjoy your day inspite of social distancing around us.
Second, I have some malicious people in my DM. I know I sound sweet oo, but I also have my 'sides' packed away in my school box. Let's be guided, I deleted the last messages doesn't mean I'll delete the others, I'll publish them here for everyone to see next time.
Third, I like it when i get reviews. Like you just send me words, paragraphs, just tell me how and why you like Bound, I'll love you forever.
Have a wonderful day 😘, I love you all, see you soon.
