Back at the 21st District, the Intelligence Unit were back in the bullpen, attempting to find more leads in the whereabouts of Raul Jimenez and Olivia Johnson. Alvin had returned to the streets, on the order of Hank, he needed to know where Olivia and Marco were before it got out that Olivia was a mother to the rest of the team.

"So the pods have been picking up the cars leaving the street with found that house, running them all, against the owners and people who would have access to them-," Mouse started off joining the team at the whiteboard, but Hank interrupted him.

"Get to the point Mouse."

Mouse nodded, "and we found an unregistered car, plates came up as stolen, and we tracked it to the suburbs Highland Park and it is still there now."

"Let's move!" Hank shouted, as the team grabbed their jackets and hurried off to their cars. Jay and Adam were partners for this one, and to say Jay was driving fast was an understatement. Hank had given the team orders not to preach until everyone was there but Jay couldn't wait as him and Ruzek sat outside of the mansion. He couldn't sit out here if there was a chance Olivia was in there.

She needed saving and he needed to save her.

"Jay stop!" Adam called after Halstead, but after he ignored him, he didn't have a choice but to follow Jay and clear the house with him.

As they approached the house, Jay and Adam were forced to take cover as they took on heavy gunfire. The gunfire was coming from the second floor balcony which overlooked the long drive they had been approaching from. "10-1, 10-1, shots fired at police, report back up," Jay said down his radio, before nodding towards Adam and then opening fire back while moving towards the house.

Adam sighed before following his partner towards the entrance, he knew why Jay was doing this, he could tell there was still love there for Olivia from him, he just didn't want the unit to be affected by any of this. Taking out the shooter on the balcony, they both move inside.

"Clear!" Jay shouts as he clears the first room, then he and Adam meet back up in the large reception area. "You ready?" Jay asked, to which Adam nodded before moving up the stairs together.

As they clear the rooms, the both approach the last door which is locked closed. Taking a deep breath, Jay shoves the door down using his shoulder. As both the detective and officer enter the room, they are shocked at what they find. The shooter from the balcony fell back into the room they now stand in, but he wasn't the only one in there.

Hearing the team pull up, Adam moves onto the balcony and calls them into the property. Jay on the other hand bends down to be faced with a small, 3 year old boy. "Hey buddy, what's your name?" Halstead asked.

The little boy didn't reply, looking down at the bunny he had in his arm. "Hey it's okay, I'm Jay, I'm here to help you," Jay smiled as the little boy looked back up at him.

"Marco," he smiled back, before jumping into his arms, allowing Jay to pick him back up.

Adam looked at the child, "I wonder who this is then."

Jay looked back, "I think I have an idea." His mind was running many thoughts through his brain, he wasn't sure on any of this but he was sure on one thing, and that was that the little boy in his arms right now was Olivia's son, and the thought of that sicken him because he knew that the little boy's father was Raul Jimenez.

Walking out the room and downstairs into the reception hall where the team was coming back together after clearing the house, Hank looked at the boy and then back at Jay, and the child did look exactly like his father. "We shot the shooter from outside, who seems to be the only one in the house, well apart from this little guy," Jay told the team as he ruffed Marco's hair.

Erin looked at the little child and instantly knew that Olivia's was the mother, she was in disbelief how deep Olivia had become, especially after having a child with the head of the Cartel. "Does he have a name?" Erin asked.

Jay nodded, "Yeah it's Marco, not sure on anything else, we aren't 100% who the mother or father is, he was just here with the shooter," Jay continued looking Hank dead in the eye. He knew since Hank knew about the undercover from day one, he knew whose the child's parents are.

Back at the district, Marco was sat in the break room in the Intelligence Unit, with Erin and Jay opposite him. Jay looked over Erin, they hadn't had a proper chance to speak since this case started. "How are you?" he asked to start the conversation off.

Erin looked up at her boyfriend, "Jay-," she started put was interrupted.

"Erin, look I know this hasn't been ideal, I thought, we all thought Olivia was out of town for good, that's why we happened. I know she was your best friend, and I know that me and Liv used to have a thing but I'm still in love with you. The main thing is finding her first, everything else can wait till after she's home safe," Jay let out a smile which Erin smiled back too.

The voice of Antonio pulled them both back into the bullpen, shutting the door behind Marco, leaving him to play with his toys. "So the DNA came back, Olivia was 100% the mother of Marco, however, this is the part that doesn't make any sense,-" he then paused and looked over at Jay, "Raul Jimenez is 99.9% certainly not his father." Hank looked over at Jay and then back at Antonio who looked like he had more to say.

"There's more," he said which brought all the team's attention back on him. "Another DNA popped up as we ran Marco's-"

"Another member of the Cartel?" Adam interrupted.

Antonio shook his head, "No," he said while looking back over at Jay, this caused Erin to look at Jay too and before Dawson had finished, she knew what he was about to say. Eventually the team caught on and all knew what Dawson was trying to say, "Jay, your DNA popped up as a 100% match. You're Marco's father."

Jay Halstead's eyes widen in shook, he looked behind him at the little boy playing so quietly with his toys, the more he starred, the more he saw himself in Marco.

Looking back around at Erin, his eyes didn't see her where she was just standing, instead Jay saw her walking down the stairs and out of the unit.

Hank stood silent, watching as Erin walked off, before looking back at Jay who was already starring at him.

Hank walked off into his office before Jay could say a word, however Jay wanted answers and he knew Voight knew them.

Storming into Voight's office, Jay started, "Sarg, I know you know the truth, and you know more than you're letting on."

Hank nodded, "shut the door behind you Detective."
