"Do you think that Snape will forgive me if I apologise?"
"..Absolutely not." Namjoon replies to Yoongi, who looks very pale as we walk down to the quidditch pitch. We've just had double potions, and Yoongi has already landed himself a detention with Snape.
"Why not?" Yoongi says.

"Firstly, because I have a bet with Jungkook. I think you'll get a detention with Snape before the end of the first day back, he reckons you won't, and I really don't wanna lose my Puffskein. Secondly, you swore at the top of your lungs after smashing extremely rare herbs on the floor." He answers matter-of-factly.
"And then you spilled potion while trying to clean it up." Jimin adds.
"And then that potion went on Snape." Hoseok adds.
"And then-"
"Okay, okay, I get it, an apology probably isn't gonna cut it," Yoongi interrupts Jin before he could name yet another reason.

"Namjoon?" I ask, leaning past Jimin to look at him.
"Yeah Ashlyn?"
"You mentioned a Puffskein, what's that?" He smiles.
"They are pets. I'll show you mine during Care Of Magical Creatures next lesson."
"It's the cutest thing ever, just wait till you see it." Taehyung says from beside me.

"Cute? It looks like a furry sports ball." Yoongi replies.
"No it doesn't!" Jungkook scoffs.
"Well, I accidentally drop-kicked one because I thought it was." Yoongi responds, causing Jimin to burst out laughing.
"How do you accidentally drop kick a Puffskein?"
"Shut up, I looked at it quickly."
"..Is it still alive?" Jungkook asks.
"Ashlyn, looking forward to you're first try on a broomstick?" Yoongi asks me, immediately changing the subject. I grimace.

"In all honesty, no. I've never been much of a sporty person, and I hate heights." I can see the pitch growing ever closer, and I'm beginning to get nervous. At least this is the perfect weather for activities. There's sun, but with a subtle breeze so it isn't stuffy. That's something I guess.

Taehyung must sense this, for he tries to reassure me. "Okay first off, whether you're sporty or not isn't a factor in quidditch. It's a completely different type of game than muggle sports you're used to. And if you're scared of heights, you could always fly with me."
"Or me." Jimin pipes up. "Since I'm a better Seeker," he says nonchalantly with a slight smirk. Taehyung just raises an eyebrow.
"Is that a challenge?"
"I was hoping you'd say that." Jimin answers.
"Well then, game on."

I watch the two zoom around the pitch at incredibly high speed, making my hair flutter as they whip past us. They are chasing after a winged, golden ball that I know to be the snitch from 'Quidditch Through The Ages.' Thanks, Dumbledore. Seeing them fly around is mesmerising, but as soon as I imagine myself in their position I feel an overwhelming sense of dread.

"Anyone would think they're actually in a match," Jin says, shaking his head in amusement.
"I mean, Jungkook is commentating under his breath to himself over here." Yoongi says.
"Yeah, because I want to be playing too!"
"Well it's driving me insane!"
"Yeah well, just becau-"

"You two shut up, I think someone's about to win," Hoseok says from next to me. I look back over at the arena to see them both dangerously close to the ground. They're practically neck and neck gliding alongside eachother, eyes completely focused on the snitch. Suddenly, Taehyung reaches out his hand to try and grab it, but he is just out of reach. Jimin takes the opportunity while Taehyung has slightly slowed to move a little ahead, before making a daring leap. He rolls and comes to a graceful stop on the grass, and holds up the snitch with a triumphant smile. He opens his mouth to say something, but pauses when he notices the snitch begin to flicker, then disappear entirely. I frown in confusion. In my peripheral vision I see Taehyung speed up into the air, and I follow his gaze to a little golden ball.
