Falling for a Furry: A Great Change

The next morning Jackson joins Taciana and her sisters and brother for a quick breakfast of fruit and yogurt, then they hurry to the school. They pull up and climb onto one of the busses filled with excited furries talking about how great it will be to finish the homes today for the furries who will be moving in. Several of the students are holding plants and flowers to put into the yard. As the bus Jackson and his team is on arrives at the house they'd worked so hard on the day before, silence fills the air.
Serena: "What... what happened?"
Ramona: "Our house! It's... ruined!"
Tawny: "Who could have done such a thing?"
Jackson and the others slowly climbed off the bus. The house, which was nearly complete the day before, was now a disaster. The windows were all broken. The doors were torn off. Someone had put big holes into the wall. Even the grass had been damaged by large tire tracks crossing all over the yard. All of their hard work was now ruined.
Taciana: "This is a disaster. Who could be so mean?"
Jackson: "I don't know. But there's only one thing we can do."
The other students crowded around him and listened.
Jackson: "No matter how bad it is, we've got to fix it. Furries are relying on us. Come on guys, we can do it."
Taciana: "Jackson is right! Come on everyone! No stopping til it is perfect!"
Everyone: "Hooray for Jackson! Let's get it fixed!"
Together the teenage furries spend the rest of the day fixing up the house. They replace the windows and they patch the holes in the walls. Together they rehang the doors, and several of the teenagers rake the yard and spread down grass seed in the damaged parts. They worked until the sun was about to set and all of them were nearly collapsing with exhaustion.
Taciana: "I'm so tired, even my fur hurts."
Jackson: "But we got it done. It's all ready for that furry family to move in tomorrow."
Taciana: "It looks so much better now. Even the garden looks nice with the flowers planted."
Ramona: "We couldn't have done it without you, Jackson."
Serena: "Yeah. Thank you for inspiring us!"
Jackson: "It's important to help others. When things get tough, it's important to keep going and not give up."
Tawny: "You are so inspiring m, Jackson!"
Taciana: "That's my dhole! I'm so proud of you, bae. Now let's go. I can't wait to get dinner and get some sleep. I can hardly keep my eyes open."
Ramona: "I'm tired, too."
Serena: "I'm more tired than you!"
Tawny: "Humph. I'm the most tired of everyone!"
