Author's Note: Dedication to @Heytherebear_ for the beautiful fan covers she made! It's over on the side bar if you want to see it :)
Wow, okay. From what I saw, a lot of you are from Kansas! And Canada. I love Canada. It's crazy how many people around the world can read something on here. You're all incredible!
Didn't see anyone from Hawai'i though :( I'M ALL ALONE ON THIS ISLAND! Kidding, hehe :)
I'm on vacation at the moment, so it's really short. Sorry :/ Enjoy!!
Chapter 34:
"Would he say he's in l-o-v-e? If it was me, then I would, I would." The boys sang together in harmony during sound check and I gave them a thumb's up from side stage.
"My earpiece isn't working," Liam spoke up once the song was over. Four sound guys rushed over to take care of it, fiddling with a few buttons. I was amazed at how pretty much everyone here was at the boys beck and call.
I left the stage, heading to the table where a bunch of food was laid out. My perfect heaven. I shoved a donut in my mouth, wandering around the backstage area a bit. People were walking around with purpose, all having a job to do before the concert tonight.
"Brook, wait up!" Harry called after me. I turned to him, mouth still full of donut. I raised an eyebrow at him. He didn't seem to noticed and asked, "What's up?"
Since my mouth was full, I wasn't able to reply. I motioned wildly while Harry looked at me with wrinkled eyebrows.
"She can't hear you mate, she's eating." Niall spoke up from beside us. Harry and I both simultaneously turned to look at him, confusion written over both of our faces.
"She can't hear me?" Harry asked as a smirk played across his lips. I swallowed the rest of the donut quickly before bursting out into laughter.
"What? I sai- Oh." Niall stopped, as if realizing his mistake of words. "I meant she couldn't say anything because her mouth was full.. Oh c'mon, stop laughing. You know what I meant!"
I took a deep breath, trying to drown the laughter that kept welling up inside me. "Sorry babe, that was funny, though."
"I'm a funny guy," Niall shrugged, eyes glinting with humor.
I smiled at him before turning to the other boy. "What'd you need, Harry?"
"Just got off the phone with Rosie. She wants to take you shopping when we get to Chicago, I told her I'd double check with you first." Harry said and I noticed his iPhone in his hands for the first time.
