A/N WEIRD THING IS, OKAY, SO I WROTE THIS STORY BEFORE THE VIDEO OF THE BOYS IN THE WAX MUSUEM CAME OUT. Okay. So can we just all reflect in the fact that I am obviously psychic. Heh.
Chapter 40:
"Now we're in New York, New York! Concrete jungle where dreams are made of! There's nothing you can't dooooo when you're in New York, New York!" Niall, Liam and I sang at the top of our lungs from their tour bus. Since it'd been a short (ish) drive, I had crashed in the boys' bus. It was fun watching them argue and fight over video games. We had literally just crossed the border. It was amusing how the second we had crossed, Niall, Liam and I burst out in song.
"You're so annoying," Harry whined from where he was in the corner, phone in hand.
"Someone needs to teach Styles how to sleep. Sleep keeps people from being grumpy," Louis singsonged, while practically running over to jump onto Harry. Harry groaned and wildly moved his hand to get the older boy off.
"Shut it," Harry growled, quite obviously in a bad mood. Louis pouted momentarily before deciding to crawl into Zayn's bunk to bother him.
"How many more minutes til we get rid of Mr. Grumpy Pants?" Liam called to the driver, Trevor. Harry snorted.
"We'll arrive at the arena in about twenty minutes. It's a five minute drive from there to your hotel," Trevor responded, eyes focused on the road.
"I'm taking you on a date tomorrow, by the way. Since we have the day off, I figured I'd drag you around and we can see some cool sites." Niall informed me, as he leaned back on the couch, eyes sparkling as he smiled at me. I nodded in acknowledgement, excitement for the next day steadily growing.
"It's really not fair that his girlfriend gets to travel with us," Harry grumbled, eyes not straying from his phone. I was slightly taken back by the harshness in his voice.
Louis poked his head out of the hidden away bed. "Someone is missing his girlfriend. At least you saw Rose last week. I haven't seen Juliet for two weeks."
"I haven't seen Andie since she left for college last month, no complaints." Liam spoke up.
"It's my last tour with you guys, might as well live it up, yeah?" I smiled softly, my eyes flickering to the floor. I was well aware of all five pair of eyes glued to me.
"What do you mean it's your last tour with us?" Zayn said something for the first time.
"I've been thinking, but I'm going to go to Uni next year. It's always been my dream to become an actress, I want to pursue it. Plus you can't always have me around, I must get annoying after a while. It's not like I'm disappearing off the planet of the earth, anyways." I replied steadily, picking absentmindedly at my nails.
"Thank God! You're not always going to be a lazy groupie," Louis broke the silence that had followed my statement. A grin was spread across his face, despite the fact that his eyes were a bit sad.
