Chapter 5

Akira's P. O. V:

The next day, Nanami, Momo, Vivienne, Loki and I hang out with our friends from Sakura Village. Grandpa told us that the other guild members should be arriving later, and reminded Nanami to be back at the inn by midnight. My friends and I were just wandering around, catching up, when we bump into Sting and Rogue. I'd immediately made a beeline straight for Frosch, and snuggled him beside Rogue.

I can't help it! Frosch is just too adorable! Nanami also cuddled Lector. Speaking of Lector, he and Vivienne hung out yesterday evening, and had a great time. I still don't think Vi has noticed Lector's feelings for her yet...

Anyway, while we were with Sting and Rogue, another guy is currently trying to get my sister to go with him. I glare daggers and was about to give Frosch back to the ravenette, but Sting steps in and punches the guy right in the face. The guy immediately got a bloody nose, probably because it's broken. If it were me, I would e given him a couple of broken arms.

"Back off! This girl is mine! Anyone else wanna have a go at me?" Sting flexes his fingers challengingly, smirking cockily. Nanami sighs and rolls her blue eyes in exasperation. A couple of other dimwits decide to take Sting on, and then some more idiots followed.

Sting fought anyone who wanted to challenge him, but Rogue stayed out of the fighting, his back to his teammate. Nanami just watches with an unimpressed expression. She mutters, watching Sting fight the guys, "Idiot."

"Better Sting than me," I say, glaring.

Rogue nods in agreement as he says, "Agreed."

"Anybody else wants some?!" Sting asks as he presses his foot on the guy's head he'd just beat up. The sun had set hours ago, and I got the feeling it was almost midnight. A few men lay sprawled on the ground after having fought Sting.

Lector says cockily, "Man, these guys are nothing but a bunch of losers."

Frosch says in agreement, pointing at a downed man, "Yeah! They're big time losers!"

Nanami asks Sting, "Are you done showing off, yet?"

He looks at her as he replies, "These guys just needed to be taught a lesson, that's all."

Nanami puts a hand to her face as she groans, "Ugh! I'm surrounded by idiots!"

"What's going on?!" Natsu's voice demands. Sting and Rogue turn around, surprised.

I look up and grin widely when I see Natsu shove his way to the front of the crowd. I giggle slightly when I see he's wearing a flower crown and necklace. This causes Sting, Rogue and the others to look in the pinkette's direction, who is on his hands and knees.

Nanami sets Lector down just as Lucy and Happy appear. "Hi, guys! You finally made it," The bluenette greets, smiling.

"Hey, Natsu-kun, Lu-chan, Happy!" I call. Natsu looks up at me and Nanami and grins back.

"Hey, Aki-chan, Nana-chan!" Natsu replies.

"Yo, Pinky!" Karma greets as the others take notice of the Fire Dragon Slayer.

"No way! It's you guys!" Natsu says in surprise, as he hasn't seen my friends since the Sakura Village mission. "What are you doing here?"

Ember replies, "We cane to cheer on Fairy Tail in the Grand Magic Games."

Mamoru greets my teammates, "And welcome back to the land of the living."

Lucy says appreciatively to the both of them, "Thanks, you guys."

Sting says with recognition, "Well, lookie here!"

Rogue asks, "Is that Natsu Dragneel?"

"Huh?" Natsu utters, confused.
