Akira furrows her brows when she feels Gray's vibration hitting the ground heavily, as though he'd collapsed. Several heartbeats have passed, and yet, the ice wizard still hasn't moved from where he'd fallen. Akira's pink eyes slowly widens as her heart pounds in her ears, and fear flashes across her face.
Rogue notices the crystal mage's stunned expression, and tilts his head slightly. "Angel, what's wrong?" He asks, gaining Sting's attention.
"G-Gray-kun... I still have my Earth Sense spell activated, and I can sense Gray's vibration, but... he's not... he's not moving..." Akira stammers, the worst thoughts imaginable flashing through her mind.
"You can go check on him if you need to, Akira-chan," Sting tells her. "Rogue and I can handle these guys."
Akira shakes her head as she replies, "No—Lyon and Juvia are still alright; they can get help if they need it. I'll stay and help you guys beat these overgrown lizards." Akira looks up at Sting and Rogue as determination steadily replaces her shocked expression.
Sting smirks as Rogue nods. "Alright, Angel," Rogue murmurs.
'You'd better not die on me, Gray Fullbuster!' Akira thinks firmly as she glares up at the two dragons before them.
Macao shoots a blast of purple fire at a few draconians that have gathered before him. Wakaba and Samui hang back behind a half destroyed wall with Romeo, Wakaba gripping his shoulders firmly to keep from running to his father's aid.
"Dad, no!"
"Slow down, kid!" Wakaba orders.
"He's hurt!" Romeo pleads.
"I've got him," Samui says, turning to face Macao. "I'm coming, Macao!"
The dark blue haired man is slumped in the floor, against a wall, baby dragons surrounding him. "Forget about me! Just keep my boy safe," Macao replies.
"Please, dad!" Romeo scream cries, tears pouring down his cheeks. He squeezes his eyes shut as the draconians fire at his father. "No!!"
Samui and Wakaba grit their teeth as they watch the draconians fire at their friend.
Akira stands beside Rogue on a roof as Levia, the water dragon, rushes at them and commands Rogue, "Accept your fate and come with me!"
Rogue shouts back as they both leap to avoid the dragon's attack, "No! Never!"
Akira growls defiantly, "Like hell we'll ever go with you!"
Akira clenches her left fist and Crystal begins to encase her whole arm as she chants, "Crystal Magic: Crystal Lance!" The light coloured crystal extends to just past her elbow, where it splits into eleven wings, while the other end turns into a sharp point. Akira pulls her arm back and lets out a cry of exertion, as she thrusts her body toward Levia, while launching her arm forward. The point of the crystal slams into his face, and they both seem to pause for a moment.
