"Normani! Hurry up with the popcorn. I want to start the movie for crying out loud. I've been waiting to see what the hype is all about" Dinah shouts from the sofa as the flat screen tv on the wall showed a movie called "Scoob!" Which was the newest Scooby Do movie and Dinah was excited when she saw the official trailer playing on tv when it hit the theaters. She would irritate Normani about it all day long and Normani surprised her today with the blue-ray version. Now, Dinah was anxious to watch it.
"Geez, Dinah the movie will still be there on that screen for another minute or two. Plus, the popcorn is just about done." Normani declared as she stood in front of their black and silver microwave, 1:25 was the time as she could smell the delicious aroma of the caramel popcorn rushing into her nostrils. Her stomach obviously enjoyed it because it started rumbling.
Dinah moans and slides down onto the sofa. "But I want to watch the movie now Mani..." She said with her bottom lip out, she looked over at the remote thinking to herself "She won't kill me if I just start it right?" When a beeping noise can be heard. The popcorn was done.
"See. Was that so hard? The popcorn is now done just need to be put into a bowl, get the drinks, and then we can watch the movie." Normani said gently grabbing the hot paper bag of popcorn and hurried to the countertop to put it down. The steam sure did burn her fingers but she grabbed a small bowl and opened the popcorn bag as the steam expanded. She poured it into the bowl and then shook it a bit. Before walking towards the trashcan throwing the bag away.
"Now come in here and get the drinks," Normani instructed as she could hear Dinah whine more. "Either come get these drinks or we not watching nothing to-" normani began to say when Dinah got up and fled into the kitchen, snatched the coca-cola and sprite from the counter, and dashed back into the living room. Normani blinked, shaking her head, grabbing the popcorn, and joined Dinah on the sofa.
"Now start the movie, and rush me again and watch me choke your ass to sleep," Normani said staring at the screen popping some popcorn in her mouth. Dinah mocked her under her breath and pressed play. They sat back and enjoyed the movie and it turned out to be very decent.
