Chapter 6-Evangeline

WOOOOO! AN UPDATE! IT'S A MIRACLE! Kay seriously, here's the update.

Everyone gasped. 

"What do you mean?" Biana countered. Fitz ran a hand through his hair.

"While Sophie and I were doing the healing, Evangeline searched Mr. Forkle's mind, and she was able to find out that the only reason Fintan didn't kill us is because they have to work together for something. We couldn't figure out what though." Fitz admitted.

"So what you're saying is, Forkle decided to work with a killer, didn't tell us, and made you heal him?" Keefe confirmed.

"Pretty much." Sophie agreed.

"Wait, don't you think it's weird that he wasn't thinking about why he was working with Fintan?" Marella asked.

"What do you mean?" I responded, sitting up straighter. Marella always made good points.

"I mean, if he was thinking about the fact that he was working with Fintan, he would have also been thinking about why. What if he knew you would search his mind? Maybe he wanted you to see that. He might want our help." She explained

"So what should we do?" Linh had us stumped. 

"I...don't know, to be honest." Sophie admitted when we all turned to her. She normally came up with the plans.

"I think we should wait until we know more." Fitz concluded. Everyone nodded and we went back to eating. We finished up and Tam and Keefe went back to their bickering. Soph and I try to stop them but it doesn't work to well.

"How DARE you insult my hair!" Keefe shouted. You could practically hear everyone's sigh from their different places in the house. 

"Oh shut up!" Tam retorted.

"Says you Bangs Boy!" You could pretty much hear Keefe's smirk too.

"Would you quit calling me that!" Tam shot back.

"Awwww, but you LOOOOOOOVE it!" Keefe teased. 

"WOULD YOU BOTH SHUT UP?!" Dex called from wherever he was.

"NOPE!" Keefe replied, while Tam said "I WISH!" They continued bickering while the rest of us finished cleaning up and stuff. Finally, Sophie got up to scold Keefe, and I followed after. As soon as they heard footsteps, they stopped.

"That's what I thought." Sophie called to them proudly. 

"Why do you guys argue so much? It's been like, what, 4, 5, years now? Come on! Just be friends already! Is that so hard?" I told them, reaching the top of the stairs.

"Yes." They said in unison. Sophie walked over and put her hands on her hips. I copied her and she glared at me. Then she turned back to Keefe and Tam.

"Tell you what, we're cutting a deal. You 2 need to behave, or we're breaking up with you. You can choose what you want." Sophie bargained, then stalked off. I was shocked by the deal she cut so I rushed after her.

"SOPHIE!" I whisper hissed. 

"What?" She asked, annoyed.

"I don't wanna break up with Tam!" I hissed again.

Don't worry. We aren't really going to. It's just to scare them. She transmitted. Then out loud she said,

"Sorry. That's the best I could do. So if you want them to stop, this is the best way." Then walked into the living room. I smiled and rushed back to where Tam was. I grabbed his wrist and dragged him away. We walked into the living room.

"Tammy!" Linh said in a sing-song-ie way.

"Oh-no." Tam grumbled.

"Oh-YES!" She cried.

"Please no! Not today! I'm too young! HALPPPPP!" Tam shrieked-wait, Tam doesn't shriek!

"Ummm, what?" I blurt out, confused. Everyone else was just laughing really hard. Finally everyone got their bearing and Wylie answered my question.

"Linh was just telling us about this dance she used to make Tam do, and we all wanted to see, so it was very convenient he walked into the room right then." He finished. 

"I need to see this. Please Tammy?" I gave him my best puppy dog eyes and batted my lashes. He rolled his eyes and sighed. He put his hands on his hips and starting doing this weird twist. Right as he was starting, Keefe waltzed into the room and literally fell to the floor laughing. Soon enough everyone joined in. I think I even saw Tam smiling, while he sighed and rolled his eyes. We spent the rest of the day laughing and telling funny stories. I couldn't help but think, these are the best people I could think to call family.
