Chapter 23-Keefe (Read A/N at the end)

I'm standing there on the altar, useless, for about 30 minutes, before the ceremony actually starts. Della walks with the twins first, Siliana throwing flowers, and Jodyn smiling and waving to people.

Next comes Stina with Jensi. Sophie decided to include him since he was one of her first friends at Foxfire. After that is Linh and Wylie. Then Marella and Dex. Then Evangeline and Tam. I freeze when it's Fitz and Biana's turn, because next comes Sophie, hooked onto Grady's arm like he's her lifeline, which he probably is right now, if she's as nervous as me. I feel Fitz judge me, and I'm really grateful.

She looks flawless. God I love her so much. Grady leaves her at the altar with a smile, then goes to sit down. She turns to me and I realise that we both have tears in our eyes. Except for once, they're happy tears. She smiles at me, and I smile back.  

The priest then blesses us, joins our hands together, and asks, "Do you Keefe Sencen, take Sophie Foster as your lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"

"I do."

"And do you Sophie Foster take Keefe Sencen as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"

"I do." 

"You may kiss the bride." 

There was a lot of cheering I pulled Sophie close and kissed her deeply.

After the wedding, we went back to our respective houses and changed into party dresses for the reception. We danced all night with all of our friends and family. It really was the best night of our lives.

And for once, all of us got to experience something we will never forget, except that this time, it was something good.
