That night, everything was perfect. Just how it was before. Except minus the threat. We ate a huge meal, laughed extremely hard(Yes, even me), and hung out until about 1 in the morning. We hadn't left the house the entire time Sophie and Keefe weren't here, so we had to tell the school that we had a bad flu, and we all had to stay home. Thank gosh it was the weekend tomorrow. We all went to bed shortly after, everyone with smiles on their faces. I heard the girls laughing and chatting as they walked upstairs to go to sleep. I also heard Dex, Keefe and Wylie talking about something. Fitz walked over to where I was putting blankets and pillows on the couch. He sat on his teal la-z-y boy, and turned to me.

"What?" I snapped when he didn't talk.

"Nothing. Everyone is going to sleep, but I'm not tired. What about you?" He says.

"Yeah. Same here." I admit.

"Let's watch T.V. for a bit then." He turns on some random channel. We watch until it's almost 3 am. I start to fall asleep.

"Hey, I'm going to got o sleep. Goodnight." I tell him. He nods.

"Me too. G'night." We both head upstairs to our rooms.

As soon as my head hits the pillow, i'm asleep.

I wake up to a mouth full of water. Great. It's probably Linh, which is the only reason I don't scowl at her. When I get up, the only person in the room is me. I guess Wylie woke up already. I start hopping around getting ready and quickly brush my teeth when I realise I have work, until someone knocks on my door.

"One second!" I call. I pull on a shirt and brush my hair , just until I have time to style it. I open the door and find Evangeline. I give her a quick kiss, and she comes into the room and sits comfortably on the desk chair. Honestly, she does this every morning, so I should have known it was her.

"UGHHHHH! Do we have to go to work today?!" She complains. You've pfrobably heard this before, but Eve loves to complain.

"Yes. We do." I sigh.

"Fiiiiiineeeee. Only for you." She stretches over to where I was looking in the mirror, fixing my hair, and boops my nose. I cringe.

"I thought I told you to stop doing that." I laugh. She joins in. It's all super fun until we here Keefe complaining from downstairs.

"But FOSTERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"

"Keefe! No. Means. No." Sophie replied. I sigh, but Evangeline looks hyped. She loves helping Keefe in arguments, which is annoying sometimes. She gets up and turns to me.

"Race 'ya downstairs?" She asks.

"You're on!" I tell her. We run downstairs laughing so hard. Then everyone starts laughing when Evangeline runs straight into Keefe, who's head knocks the soap over and into his hair. He shrieks.

"MY HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!" He runs upstairs to go fix his hair, which is great since it means we won't have to deal with him for another half an hour to an  hour.

We make breakfast and wait another 10 minutes for Keefe to come down. Then we all eat together. Mostly, everyone is complaining, or in Biana's and Marella's case gossiping, about work. None of us are really excited, except for the girls. Well not Eve. We finish eating and I finish getting ready.

We go outside and that's when we realise we never decided who's taking which car. So when we came here, there was four cars. Two in the garage thing, and two more in the drive way. We never knew why. There was two cars that had two extra seats in the back and two cars that had two seats in the front and three in the back.

"Okay well, let's separate by jobs." Dex said. "The most logical way to do this would be, those who work at the Cafe(me, Biana, Marella, Evangeline)take one car, those who work at Pet Smart take another(Linh, Tam, Wylie), and then Sophie, Fitz, and Keefe take another car since their workplaces share a parking lot. Sound good?" He explained. Everyone nodded and got into their cars.

As soon as we walked into the store, people were staring at us. Like come on people, get over it. Linh and Wylie and first shift, so I was stuck walking around. I insinctively walked over to the ice cream shop, just to annoy Fitz. I walked in and the bell on the door rang. Fitz was smiling, but as soon as he saw me he glared, then rolled his eyes, then went back to work. I walked out the door. Then back in again. I repeated this until Fitz stopped looking at me every time I came in. I did it three more times before an actual customer came in. Fitz growled.

"Tam, I'm going to kick you out if you don't stop right-" He went pale when he realised he was saying it to someone else. I cracked up. Fitz apologised to the man and gave him ice cream on the house. I walked off so he couldn't yell at me. Next, Keefe. I walk into the pet adoption centre. It's harder to annoy Keefe, but not when you're me. I saw Sophie and she saw me. We shared a smirk. Since Sophie learned how to mimick, she can change her voice when she transmits. She waited to hear the lady in front of her's voice, and then I took my cue when Keefe flinched. I started to manipulate the shadows around him, but in a way that only he could see. Then, the shadows started chasing him. He ran around the store like a lunatic, clutching his head and screaming "STOP CHASING ME!" The lady looked concerned so she finished what she was doing quickly and rushed out. All of a sudden. Keefe stopped and walked back to his place. He looked a little shaken. Sophie put on her best concerned face. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I decided to walk out of my hiding spot. I walked out and winked right at Keefe and Sophie. Keefe looked like he was about to breathe fire. As soon as I was outside, I started cracking up again. I saw Evangeline across the streets, also cracking up. I jogged over and slipped my arm through hers.

"Annoying people is really fun." She sated. I nodded in agreement. We walked down the street to this little bakery in the shadows. None of our other friends knew about it. We ate until it was time to go.

I told stupid people about animals for about half an hour before I snapped. One guy kept asking me the same question over and over again "So what am I supposed to feed the turtles." Then he would go "And I oop Sksksksks". Whatever that means. I snapped at the guy, shoved the food in his face, and pushed him to the cash register. When Linh finished doing the transaction, I practically shoved him out the door. I heaved a sigh. Some people.

Finally, work was over and I could just go home and relax. Or at least, that's what I thought.
