Chapter Three

Hayes POV: (The next morning)

"I GOT A TEXT!" "I GOT A TEXT!" I screamed jumping on Nash's bed as he groaned while sitting up.
"Huh? OH! From Gwen right?" He asked.

"Yup!" I smirked
"Congrats bro! Told ya there's nothing to worry about." Nash yawned laying back down, Lazy, not even asking what she said.

As I walked down the stairs my mom also congratulated me, saying she heard me screaming it to Nash, I blushed and thanked her. Then finally opened the message...

Gwen POV:

I woke up this morning early, weird I know so at first I decided to get something to eat. I made my way down to the kitchen to get some oatmeal and coffee and then made my way back up to my empty room and got out my IPad.

I them decided, after looking through all my social medias to FaceTime my best friend/older cousin, Saben. Even though it was early I knew she would answer, and she did.

"Hey!! Gwen!" she said happily yet in a tired voice. "How's North Carolina?" She asked.
"Oh! Its great...and guess what?" I said smirking.
"OMG what?" she asked impatiently waiting for an answer.
"I met someone yesterday at the park with Madelyn!" I exclaimed.

"Ooo DETAILS NOW!" she demanded making me turn the volume down.
"Okay, so I went to the park with Madelyn while my parents and Ethan where bringing in boxes and..." I started.

"Uh huh! Continue..!" She pleaded.
"...Madelyn started playing with a little girl there when she introduced herself to me, and then her brother did after as well!" I said almost out of breath.

"Hmm, so tell me about this brother of Skylynn's...!" She smirked.
"Well...he has shaggy dark hair and the most AMAZING blue eyes." I told her blushing.

"Aww, he sounds cute! But he better be nice!" She said protectively.
"Oh whatever, I'm sure he is, although I did just meet him yesterday." I giggled.
"OH! And I almost forgot to say, I got his number!" I squealed.

"WHAT!! Nooooo waaaaay! What did you say!!" she screeched.
"Oh, nothing yet I didn't want to seem desperate." I confessed.

"Well! If you wait too long he'll think you're not interested!" she said.
"Oh! Ok ok, then what do I say?" I asked nervously.

"Hmm, just keep it simple and say....Good morning, then say oh this is Gwen by the way." She ordered.
"Okay...got it! Annnnnnnnnd sent!" I exclaimed

Text Convo:

G- Good Morning!

G- Oh, and this is Gwen btw :)

"Alright, well since I'm already up I might as well go get ready so bye cuz!" She said.
"Okay bye!" I replied ending the call.

Just after the call by phone binged, signaling a text from Hayes.

Text convo:

H- Hey! Morning to you too... So what you up to today?

G- Hmm, well I have to do some un-packing, but maybe after we could hang?

H- Sure! Just text me when ;)
