Hayes POV:

So today was the day. Sunday. The day the barbeque would take place, I thought to myself as my eyes shot open.

As I glanced at the clock read 6:00 A.M. , which meant I had to wait SIX AGONIZING HOURS to see Gwen. Since it was still REALLY early I tried to go back to sleep, because I still had my alarm set for when I needed to be up. Although, If the sun is through the blinds, and I open my eyes...They're not closing again.

I then hopped out of bed and walked to the bathroom, while sliding some gym shorts on. After using the restroom and such I headed down stairs and found my mom starting breakfast.

"Morning boys, I just started the pancakes, but if you need to leave now I can give you money to pick something up." My mom said, still facing the opposite way making the pancakes.

"Uh..." I said because what she said wasn't for me.
"Hayes?" She questioned turning around realizing it wasn't them. "Surprised your up! Where is Nash and Cam?" She asked.

"Their still asleep, should I wake them?" I offered.
"Please." she answered, knowing they had to get to their meeting.
I then walked up the stairs and slowly opened Nash's door and walked in.

When I got in I saw Nash squished into the corner of the bed, in a ball hugging his pillow, Cameron on the other hand, stretched out like a star fish. Each limb taking up a whole corner, except the one Nash was occupying, although his hand was still on top of Nash.

After seeing that, I decided to wake them by opening the blinds, so I walked to the window and pulled the string, while Nash hissed. I started to chuckle until Cameron got up.
"Oh, sorry bro..." Cameron said, referring to how he took up lots of room while moving to sit up.

"Eh, its alright...What time is it anyways?" Nash asked I a groggy morning voice.
"Umm, six thirty." I answered after checking my phone.
"Six thirty? We got to get ready man!" Cameron answered jumping up to find his clothes for the day.

"Alright, well I'll let you two get ready then..." I said while leaving as Nash slowly got up and nodded.
With that I left and went back down stairs and helped my mom finish breakfast.

When we had just finished Nash and Cam ran down stairs about to leave, but ate quickly.
While they where eating I asked..." So, the meeting is to plan for the future meet and greet dates right?"
"Mmhm." Nash said between the shovels of pancakes to his mouth.

"Alright I'm full, Thanks for the breakfast Mrs. Grier." Cameron said wiping his mouth.
"Yeah, thanks mom." Nash added finishing as well.

"You two are welcome, but I cant take all the credit, Hayes helped too." She smiled looking at me.
"Oh, thanks too then Hayes." Cameron said surprised as Nash nodded in agreement.

"Well, we got to go, Bye mom!" Nash said as him and Cameron got up for the door.
"Bye boys! Try to be back for the barbeque today please." mom said.

"We will." Cam smiled, and with that they left.
"Well, I'm going to clean up this mess, why don't you go help your dad set up the tables outside?" my mom asked, since there was still time before I had to get ready.

"Alright, tables in the garage right?" I asked.
"There in the backyard, your dad moved them last night, just go help him set up." She answered while putting ingredients we used away.

"Okay." I said heading to the backyard, finding my dad looking around lost.
"Mom told me to help." I stated walking towards him.
"Good so, how do we place them?" He asked.

I then helped him set them up the way my mom told me she wanted them as we cooked.
By the time we where done it was nine, so I went inside and took a shower, to wipe the sweaty smell.
After doing so I put on my red and gray button up collar shirt with kaki shorts, and gray vans. ( The photo )

After I finished getting ready I went downstairs and started to watch TV for a while, since I still had an hour.
Once it was twelve my dad joined me in watching the game, and seconds later the doorbell rang...
I quickly jumped up and saying I'd get it, and flattened my shirt opening the door.

When it first opened I saw (What I assumed) Gwen's dad "Which way to the TV?" He asked. "Just around that corner." I answered.
Then came Gwen's mom "Hello sweetie! Do you happen to know where your mom is?" She greeted and asked. "Just that way in the kitchen." I pointed as she followed with a tray of cookies.

Until finally I saw Gwen so I greeted her with a hug saying "Hey Gwen!"
I then noticed a girl about Nash's age with strait blonde hair just standing in the doorway looking around.
So I whispered "Gwen, who's the blonde?"

Gwen's POV:

"Oh! This is my Friend/Cousin Saben." I smiled parting from the hug introducing her.
"Nice to meet you Saben, I'm Hayes." He smiled shaking hands with her.
"Well, I'll leave you two to talk about stuff and things, bye!" she said walking towards the kitchen.

I then started to look around and said, "You have a nice house Hayes."
"Thanks! Want me to show you around?" He asked.
"Sure!" I agreed.

"Well, there's not much to the bottom floor, plus everyone's down here, so upstairs first it is!" He said grabbing my hand as we went up the stairs.
First he showed me the bathroom he and Nash shared, then to Nash's room, just looking in. Next was Skylynn's horse decorated room, the game room, and lastly his room.

I then walked in his room as he followed and started to pick up a few things as I looked at all the pictures on his shelves. "Aww, is this you when you where younger?" I asked joining him sitting on his bed.

"Uh, yeah." He smiled.
"You looked so cute." I smiled down at the picture.
"Oh, so your saying I'm not cute now?" He said looking up from the picture.

"No! I mean I don't know, maybe?" I said nervous.
"Wow, I see how it is." He answered as we both started laughing.
"This is a cute photo though..." I said admiring it as he leaned in closer to look too.
