Chapter Twelve

Gwen's POV:

Since it's Friday me and Hayes where going to see the movie today, which he texted me would start at seven, and it was now five thirty.

I wasn't too excited to about the movie to be honest, but I really wanted to be with Hayes.

I was starting to pick out a outfit when Saben walked in.

"Where ya going?" She asked while sitting down on my bed.
"Well, you know how I talked to Hayes Thursday? Well he invited me to a movie today." I explained.

"Oooh, ok..." She replied coming to help me pick clothes out.
"OH! And I kinda need a ride there..." I said totally forgetting.

"Yeah, that's fine." She smiled handing me an outfit.
"Great, and I think I'll actually wear this!" I said happily.

"Of course you will, I'm the best clothes picker ever!" Saben sassed walking out the room flipping her hair.

I then just laughed and slipped the outfit on, then making my way to the desk to straiten my naturally wavy hair. After that was done I put on my normal makeup, mascara and lip-gloss.

By then it was six thirty, so I slipped my shoes on walking out of my room. When I got to the door Saben was already waiting for me with her keys to her rental car she had gotten.

On the way there I was so excited, but scared for the movie. I quickly lost the thought when Uptown Funk started. Saben then looked at me with the same thought as I turned it up dragging it from the speakers.

We then started to dance and scream the lyrics gaining looks from nearby drivers. Before we could pull in the parking lot of the theatre I quickly turned it down.

Saben then started to look for a parking spot.
"You know you can just drop me off at the front? I saw Hayes there already..." I questioned, wondering why she was now pulling in a spot.

"Oh, well I, I, figured I might as well come too, but don't worry Ill sit in the back." She replied nervously.
"Oh.....okay..." I said back confused on why she shuddered through her answer.

We then got out and walked up to Hayes and, Nash?
"Hey Nash! What's up?" I said giving him a high five as he chuckled.

"Oh I see how it is, not greeting for me?" Hayes sassed crossing his arms turning away.
"What would you say if I said best for last?" I smirked as he turned around and held his arms open, which I jumped into hugging him tightly.

Once we started hugging I never wanted to let go, but Saben and Nash where standing there, plus, we had a movie to catch. Just as I finished that thought he let go asking...
"Ready to go get the tickets?"

"Yup!" I smiled taking his hand walking to the booth...

Saben's POV:

"Ready to go get tickets?" Hayes asked Gwen after they had a super cute hug.
"Yup!" She smiled widely with his hand joining hers as they walked off.

I then looked over to find Nash doing the same thing I just was, smiling at Gwen and Hayes.
"So what brought you here?" I asked Nash pulling him from his gaze.

"Wha? Oh ya know, just to supervise," He smiled looking back at them, "And you?" he asked turning to me.
"Oh, well just cause I was bored, also cant have you spilling food on anyone else." I laughed.

"Still mad about that! Uhhhh I said I was sorry! What else do you want?" He laughed.
"Well......You could buy me a ticket to the movie!" I grinned.

"If I do will you forgive me?" He asked with pleading eyes.
"Ummm, maybe." I said walking to get popcorn as he went to the booth.

After getting my popcorn I walked out of the concession finding Nash.
"Here you are my lady! Forgivith me now?" he asked in a British accent handing me the ticket.

"Hmm, alrighty then, but just for now." I answered in the same accent as he shook his head laughing.
We then walked to the theatre the movie was in. As I walked in I waved to Gwen who was sitting in the very middle with Hayes.

Once I knew where they where I made my way to the very top. As soon as I sat down Nash came and sat right next to me.

"That seat is saved." I said looking over at him.
"Aw for me? Thanks." He said eating some of my popcorn, grinning.

I just looked at him for a second with a 'really' type look.

He then just laughed and looked at the screen since the movie was starting.
Since it was just the beginning it wasn't too bad at first, but soon started to get a little worse, showing a few scary things.

I was getting really scared, but didn't want to admit it by covering my face so I just watched as the man entered the haunted house.

I was freaking out when he went in the basement where the mother killed her children and she then popped up on the screen causing me to scream...

I then covered my mouth and hid my face on my lap when Nash apologized for my screaming to the audience.
"Hey, look at me." Nash whispered so I sat up looking in his eyes.

"Its just a movie you know." He whispered looking in my eyes which had fear in them.
"I know, I just wish telling myself that would calm me.." I whispered back sighing.

"Well, maybe this will..." he whispered putting a strand of hair behind my ear leaning in.
Once our lips touched millions and I mean MILLIONS of fireworks went off, and I know that sounds cliché but, they did.

Although since it was our first kiss together and all it didn't last that long, so when we parted I blushed looking down as he did too slightly laughing.

Gwen's POV:

As I was watching the movie I started to get scared when the guy entered the house so I started to cover my face and just peak through a small hole.

"Hey no need to be scared, I'm right here, I'll protect you if anything jumps out." Hayes laughed putting his arm around me causing me to slightly relax.

I then started to freak out when he opened the basement door so I just hid my face in Hayes chest.
I then felt him slightly jump and heard a scream that sounded familiar...

"Sorry everyone..." I heard Nash say to the other viewers, so I sat up to see what was going on back there.

When I looked at them I saw Nash talking to Saben, trying to calm her down I assume, and then push a piece of her hair behind her ear.....!

I quickly turned around in shock knowing what was about to happen.
"You okay Gwen?" Hayes whispered noticing my expression.

"Uhh yeah, no problem." I smiled as the worried look left his eyes.
The movie was then just about over so there where no more scary parts so I watched until credits rolled in.

Once the movie was over we waited for Nash and Saben to get to our row and went to the restroom.
After that we walked out all discussing the movie and laughing at how Saben screamed until we where outside.

When we where about to split to go home, I pecked Hayes on the cheek and thanked him for inviting me as he blushed saying "You're welcome."
Saben and I then walked out to the car and got in to go home...
