Chapter 3

Liams POV

I woke up with Zayn next to me smiling like an idiot.
"What?"
"So, thoughts on Prom?" he asked
"Here we go again" I said turning the opposite way
"Liam" he whined "we have to go" he said and I sat up and looked at him
"No Zayn, have you thought about the way people will look at us? People actually judge others Z and Im not one who can just block hurtful words away"
"I understand Li, but with me, I'll guard you, I'll shield you away from the hurtful words, and the bad people in the word cause I care about you more than anything else in the world baby, you really do mean a lot to me and I love you"
"Man, that was deep" I said and he playfully hit my arm and smiled
"Can we please go"
"Ugh, I guess we should start looking for tux's huh?"
"Yes!" he said throwing a fist in the air

We were at the mall with my mum who was smiling like an idiot, and being kinda suspicious.
"Ok so Liam, how about this one?" she asked
"No"
"Omg Liam what is your colour scheme since you dont like my ideas" she said and Zayn chuckled
"I was thinking to of a black and blue concept, like one of us wear black, to show manly hood and the other in turquoise, to show feminism." I said
"I better not be the one in the blue-"
"Turquoise!" I corrected him
"Whatever colour it is, I better not be wearing it cause we'd be lying now wouldnt we LiLi" he said walking up to me then kissing my cheek.
"Yes, thats why I want to where it, duh!"
"Sounds ok to me then, Zayn whats your thought on the tux?"
"I could care less, but this is for Liam so Im choosing this one" he said pointing to a very expensive tux
"Ok, now for you Liam" she said and I walked around trying to find the perfect color.
Thats when I found it, it was the perfect shade and size, plus it had a light dust of sparkle to it and it was just perfect.
"This one" I said and she picked it up and handed Zayn his
"This is beautiful Liam, and you said you didnt even want to go"
"We all know secretly he did mummy Payne"
"Ok fine, maybe a little" I admitted and looked down blushing
"Well lets get these and we can head out of here you crazy kids, and get Zayn home cause I know your mum is probably worried by now"
"No, she knows Im here with you, I told her yesterday after our talking in the hallway"
"Really, and she's ok with it"
"Yep, she said she'd even help pay"
"Amazing, I'll make sure to give her a call"
"Dont forget" he said and I was so confused
"Zayn what were you two-" he shushed me by putting his finger over my lip
"Dont worry your pretty little head about it ok baby, you'll find out"
"Ugh, you know I hate secrets"
"Get over it kid"
"Im not a kid"
"Well according to the law your not a legal adult so.....your a kid"
"I am not, my birthday just hasnt come yet Zayn, since your an adult, why do you stilll live woth your mum?"
"Cause I dont have enough money to move out"
"Then how are we going to move out together"
"You'll see Liam, I have it all worked out, and so does your mum, and my mum ok"
"Well since all these people know, why dont I?"
"Cause, you just dont thats all"
"Well I want to"
"You cant just yet ok baby, you'll have to wait"
"But-"
"Zayn, Liam, come on guys" mum yelled
"Coming" Zayn said as we walked towards her
"This isnt over yet"
"Oh, but I think it really is my good boyfriend"
"Shut up, that was corny"
"Thats why I said it" he said and we met up with my mum and started walking to the car. What a long day
