Chapter 5

Zayn POV

Today was the day of prom right, and Im am literally shaking and my mum is saying calm as I was leaving the house going to Liam's. I was nervous and I don't think I should be driving like this, cause I was shaking so much and I was barely touching the wheel. So then I finally made it to his house, and yes I was still nervous as I knocked on his door and his mum opened it.
"Todays the big day" she said as we walked into the hallway.
"Sshh, I know mummy Payne and Im already nervous" I admitted
"Well it'll be ok" she said "heres the ring, dont let him see it"
"You got it Mummy Payne" I said putting the ring in my inner jacket pocket as soon as Liam came down
"Hey LiLi"
"Hey Zaynie"
"You look so cute"
"Duh, thats why we're cute together"
"Awe look at my gaybie going to Prom with his boyfriend, I need a picture of this" she said
"Mum, no" Liam tried to stop her but he was to late
"Say gay" she said and I tried not to laugh and just smile, which I succeeded at
"Ready?" 
"Ready" he said
"Bye mummy"
""Dont try to act like a kid now kid"
"Um.."
"Hush, have a great time Zayn make sure Liams back by noon tomorrow or your both in trouble" she said and I just nodded taking Liams hand as we walked out to my car.

Liams POV

We were finally going, something inside me said people were going to judge us, and be grossed out. But when we actually arrived people just clapped and told us things like 'you two are brave' 'you two are cute together' and the one that shocked me most was 'Im voting you two for prom kings' and I literally teared up.
"Li, I see the click, lets go" he said dragging towards the boys who were laughing
"Hey" Louis said
"Hi" I said back
"You know people are voting you two for Prom kings right?"
We've heard so far" I said smiling
Maybe people were different and they didn't judge, actually everyone judges someone else. But maybe not everyone hated us and thought that we were disgusting, which made me feeling good about myself.
"Li, you wanna dance?" Zayn asked and I nodded
We walked out to thefloor and it was a fast paced song so we danced like we were crazy, since neither of us knew how to dance. 
"So when am I going to find out that little secret?"
"After the crowning" he said and I pouted but nodded my head
"Ok everyone, take your seats cause its time for the crowning" Ms.Thompson said
"So everyone welcome to the 2015 Prom and Im Lillian and I will presenting the crowns" she said and I smiled at her
"So tonights Prom king is....... Zayn Malik" she said and Zayn smiled getting up and walking towards the stage.
"And for the first time ever, we wont be having a queen, but instead another king named Liam Payne" she said and I got up making my way towards Zayn and we now both had crowns
"The rest of the year these two bo- I mean men wil lead us through the rest of our year with greatness. And these are our winners" she finished and everyone clapped and a few even whistled
"Liam, would you like to dance?"
"I'd love to" I said and the song played, which it was slow and I was pressed against Zayn which was the best thing yet.
Then the music stopped, but the song wasnt over. Zayn backed away from me and got on one knee and took out a box from this inner jacket pocket. I swear I could have cried right then and there.
"Liam, i know I was a jerk when I met you, and that Im annoying, and that we fight about little things. But when you get annoyed, its cute and when you get mad, its fucking hot. Now I don't know if you've realized this but everyone else at school has, but you've literally changed me in every way you possibly can. Im a better person who can do greater things now Li, and I want you to see that. I want you too see how much I can change, and how much we can change together. Liam James Payne, will you marry me?" he finally asked and lets say his speech made me cry 
So all I could do was nod and he slid the ring on my finger and got up to kiss me. This kiss was amazing then he pulled away and looked at everyone and yelled.
"He said yes!!!" 
Thats when it got loud which cheers from everyone, and I was still crying but with happy tears of  course.
"Li, stop crying"
"Its hard cause im so happy"
"Well we should leave now, I gotta have you home by noon" he said and thats when it all came together
This was the secret him and mum planned out, and this is what she meant by 'be home by noon'
"I guess so" I replied and he smiled and we left.
Did someone say HOTEL ROOM???
