Acknowledgements

Obstacles is set in an order that tells a story about how and what I went through during my freshman year all the way up to my senior year of high school. It has the sole purpose to inspire, explain, understand, and to become aware of the things that people may not know of. It is about how I went through periods of happiness, experience the meaning of family and friendship love, grief, pain, depression and anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and overcoming those thoughts to live a better happier life. However, none of this would not have happened if it were not for the people that are at Harding Charter Preparatory High School. The people at Harding have taught me to believe in myself even when it doesn't seem like it. The people have encouraged me day in and day out to be a better person. The teachers at Harding have taught me that I am NEVER alone and accomplish anything if I can just put my mind to it. 

        Not only have the Harding Community have helped me with my writing capacity, but my parents: Betty and Steven Bowen have help me achieve this goal of publishing my book. Also, my sister, Abby Money, and brother-in-law, Arthur Miller. They have helped inspire me, believe in me, and encourage me, along with my nieces, who will not be named.Thank you also to my friends! You guys know who you are... 

Also, my Epic family at People's Church helped me, alongside New Harvest Fellowship. Both churches lead me closer to my faith and having a much better relationship with God. 

And the last person I would like to thank is God/Jesus himself. Without Him, I would not have been in this world and not only that have found this incredible gift that He gave me. Sometimes through life, most people do not realize the amazing miracles that He does for people, or the people that He put in our lives to help us along our journey. Everyone I have listed have been put into my life for a reason and purpose. They were set there to help build my character and shape who I am. Of course, I had to do the work in order for me to fully shape, however, due to so many people in my life, they have helped me in some sort of way, even if they do not realize it. God puts people in your life to help you along your journey, or even to help you step outside your comfort zone. And I want to thank every single person who has help me write this book, even help me edited it, or just been there in my life.
