"Kazuto?" I looked up at him. Since we are having this date, I think it's best if we get to know each other more.
"Yes, what is it? Are you ok?" He asked concerned.
"I um... I want to know more about you." I blushed looking away.
"What would you like to know?"
"Um...just the basics..."
"Alright, I'm 16. I obviously love sandwiches. I grew up in this town. I love the color black. I sort of like animals. I don't know what else to say." He laughs.
"Um had any girlfriends?"
"A few but they always left me."
"Any secrets?" I smirked.
"Actually I do. I don't-" He stopped as if he realized something. His expression changed, like he was not here.
"Kazuto?" He then smiled and put his arms behind his head.
"Never mind, I'm not telling." What was he going to say? "How about you?"
"Huh?"
"Tell me about you."
"Well I...I'm also 16 almost 17. I moved here when I was 10. I like crosses a lot. Oh and reading. Definitely cats. I like the color white and red..."
"And?"
"That's it, I'm nothing special."
"Yes you are." He smiled at me.
"Your lying." I told him.
"Why would I lie to my girlfriend?" When he said girlfriend, I knew we were official. But, I still couldn't tell him all about me. I noticed he was closer to me and I blushed more. "Whats with the blushing?" He smiled more.
"I...I...Uh....your so close." I stuttered.
"It wouldn't be the first time." He told me. He was right, it's not like we never kissed before. When we did, it felt like a dream. So, I leaned my forehead to his. "Are you having a good day?" He asked.
"Of course." I smiled.
"I love you Asuna." He whispered.
"Why are you whispering it?"
"Because, so your the only Asuna that can hear it."
"Are you ashamed to say it aloud to everyone?"
"Hell no." Kazuto backed away and stood up. He cupped his hands to his mouth. " I Love Asuna!" He yelled. I blushed as everyone stared at us, but I also giggled. "See? Told you. Now you owe me a sandwich for embarssinf myself."
"Only a sandwich?"
"And a kiss." I quickly gave him a peck. "That's it?" He whined.
"For now." I stuck out my tongue. "Oh I almost forgot. I have work tomorrow. Shino had sent me the hours this morning."
"Does that mean I can come?" He perked up.
"Just don't stare at me ok?" I crossed my arms.
"No promises." I rolled my eyes at him.
In the dressing room in the diner I was in front of a big mirror, looking at myself with the maid uniform. I didn't realize it was this short! I I tried stretching it down, but it didn't work. "Asuna, what are you doing?" Shino came in. I closed my eyes.
"My uniform is too short."
"No, it's not, it's supposed to be like that." I looked at her and her uniform. Same length.
"Why?"
"They just make them that way. Now come on, you have work to do. Remember say 'Welcome back master' or 'Welcome back my lady." She turned around and left. I followed her and people chatted when I closed the door. "Stay with me Asuna." Shino told me. I went to her side as the door chimed. We both bowed. "Welcome back master." We both said.
"Aw your adorable." I opened my eyes and blushed. I didn't think Kazuto would come this early! I gripped the bottom of my dress and forced it down. Shino looked at me.
"Do you know him?" She whispered to me. "If not that's harassment."
"No no, he's... he's my boyfriend." I sighed.
"Alright, I will leave him to you then. No messing around." She went off to another customer.
"Can you wear that at your house when I'm there?" He started to fantasize.
"Stop being that way." I grabbed a menu for him and walked to an empty chair. He sat down and took the menu. "What kind of drink?" I asked.
"Um, Coke."
"Coke? That's a surprise." I laughed.
"Trying something different." He said. "Are you cooking today?"
"Next week."
"Aw then I will have....a...uh..."
"Need help?" I leaned over. "There is a hamburger. Those are good. Spaghetti, burrito, soup, steak." I listed off.
"What about a milkshake?" He said staring at my chest.
"Seriously! Kazuto I told you not too!" I backed away and crossed my arms.
"I'm sorry, I'm a guy..."
"That's always their excuse." I said. "If I wasn't risking my job, I would've shanked you with a knife for doing that." I growled.
"No you wouldn't." He smiled innocently.
"I would too...so what do you want?"
"A burrito."
"Burrito? Ok then." I wrote it down. "It might take a couple of minutes." I hooked the paper on the wheel and called out the order.
"Hey...Asuna." Kazuto said quietly.
"Ya?" I walked over.
"I'm sorry I acted that way. Your just so beautiful, and not in a perverted way." His eyes glistened with happens.
"Thank you Kazuto." I leaned over the counter and kissed him.
