Asuna's P.O.V

After Work~

It seems like everyone once in while has family issues, but I'm glad not like mine. I wouldn't dream of anyone taking my place...it feels horrible.

"So about that meet up." Shino walked up to me with a smirk on her face.

"What about it?" I asked.

"Shall we have it in a few days? That's enough time to get ready right? I was thinking we could have a picnic at the park maybe. If that sounds good."

"Sounds fine to me." I smiled.

"Alright, as soon as everything is figured out I will give you a call then, bye Yuuki." She waved and walked out with a chim.

I sighed and got out my phone.

To~ Kazuto

Me: I'm off work, going home now.

I locked up the diner and turned around to not see my bike. I forgot I had a ride this morning... Then I remembered what happened before that. I felt myself heat up like an oven with butterflies inside.

"Keep calm Asuna." I told myself and shook off the feeling, but knowing it will come back later. I felt a buzz in my pocket and pulled it out.

Kazuto: Be safe... I'll see you in the morning.

I smiled and put away my phone.

"Asuna Yuuki." I looked to my left and saw the cop parked on the other side.

"Oh, hi." I walked over to the passenger said. "Thanks for picking me up..."

"Well I am suppose to keep an eye on you. What kind of cop would I be if I didn't do my job?"

"The kind that gets coffee and donuts?" I asked.

"Kids are so stereotypical."

I faced out the window as he drove, trying not to make a long conversation. I don't like cops that much anymore. They seem...a bit of now, but it just might be a new system they have to follow.

"Ms. Yuuki, I was wondering if I could sleep on your couch tonight. My car is kind of small, and I get knots in my neck."

He was right about his car being small, but I don't feel comfortable letting another person into my house. Rika and Kazuto are enough.

"I'm sorry...but I'm not ok with that."

"I understand." He said with a straight face.

I took a deep breath and checked my phone again.

Rika: Hey are you done? I wanted a girl's night with you :)

I smiled and replied.

I'm on my way home. I'll see you there."

I pressed send and put my phone on my lap.

"If you need anything Yuuki, I'm here remember that." The cop told me as I got out of the car.

"Ok.." I quietly said and shut the door.

"Hey Asuna." Rika walked over.

"The cop is weird..." I whispered to her.

"You're just weird." She laughed. "You haven't been around cops that long, and you don't know how they are. He is trying to help, now come on!"

She pulled my arm up the porch and quickly opened the door with her extra key.

"Why so hyper?" I asked her.

"I had some candy...nothing special. Let's have some ice cream and talk about things."

"Rika.Need.To.Chill.Out." I shook her shoulders and laughed. "Anyways, my boss, Shino. She wants to have a picnic in a few days and I could bring friends."

"What day are we talking about?" She asked.

"I don't know yet, she said she would tell me when she figures it out."

"I'll ask my mom then, I bet it will be fun. So is Kazuto going? I mean why wouldn't he? You two love seeing each other."

"I was going to ask him..."

"But Asuna...are you sure you can trust him? I bet you don't even know him, and you told him things about you."

"He's nice and caring-"

"Asuna! He could be using you. I'm sorry but it could be true. I just had to tell you about this. I couldn't hide what I thought. You need to know him."

"He is coming over tomorrow, so if you really mean it, I will talk with him." I sighed. "I just know how it feels when people ask about the past."
