LHY's POV
The bell ringing disrupted the class and signaled the end of the school.
Fixing my things, I tried to listen to what our professor was saying but failed due to the feet of many students scurrying to the door. I don't even bother to join them. Waiting for them to clear out, I took my time walking to the front door of the classroom.
I was finally out of the university when I received a text from Kaye reminding me to go to YG later. I replied with a simple 'okay' and was on my way home.
Walking home is one of my favourite things to do. The cool wind brushing up my spine, the smell of food travelling with it, the beautiful city lights, it relaxed me.
This made me think of how lucky I was to have this kind of life. Unlike me, Kaye cannot walk freely without people walking up to her asking for photos and autographs. If I took that offer last year, I wouldn't be able to go on walks like these. This always made me value the privacy of a person.
Having a final waft of the cold but refreshing air, I went inside my apartment building and took the elevator to the 5th floor.
I was hoping that my video had already finished uploading so that I could take my laptop to YG. I had made a new song a few days ago and was itching to give it to Mina unnie.
I sometimes sell my songs to YG for extra money, so her opinions mattered the most to me when it comes to my original songs cause she's a producer herself. She always gives me the right advices that helped. Since our first meeting, I could tell I improved in making music and tunes.
Arriving home, I ran, literally ran, to my laptop. Sighing in relief, my video was done uploading a couple of hours ago. It has already a few hundred thousand views and likes.
When I started this channel, I thought that I would have a decent number of subscribers. But due to what was happening now, I didn't expect it to come close to a million. I was grateful of course, but that thought of a lot of people watching me has always managed to make me dizzy.
Scrolling through the comments, I liked some of them. I read most of the criticism so I would know how to improve. But one thing caught my eye, a comment from BANGTANTV.
"Great cover. Thanks for doing Lie!"
-2k likes 237 replies-That was all it took for my body to stop functioning. BTS commented on my video.
I couldn't believe what I was reading. I was happy but terrified at the same time. Happy because BTS freaking commented on my video, and terrified for all the attention I'm getting. A million thoughts flying around my head as I tried to suppress my feelings.
Key word: tried.
I screamed, paced around the room, went to my laptop, and the cycle continued.
Thinking about it further, it could be the staff. They also have access to their account, right?Yeah, it could just be the staff. Wait, but wouldn't that be worse?
A text message from Kaye bought me back to my senses.
"Where are you?" It read.
My eyes widened. How could I forget about that?
I quickly closed my laptop, deciding I would deal with that later, and placed it on its bag.
Leaving my school bag, I hurriedly took a coat from the stand and left my apartment. Since I was running late, I decided to hail a cab as it was faster than riding a bus. Let's just hope the traffic isn't that bad.
