CHAPTER 25:
park rosé's point of view
the school festival passed by like a blur.
seems like the saying is true, time sure flies fast when we're having fun.
it was pretty uneventful for the rest of the school festival. we just did the usual, you know, roam around the stalls and booths, eat, play and hang out. we also watched eachother's performances. lisa, jimin oppa, kai oppa, hobi oppa, seulgi eonnie and the rest, was amazing in the performance of the dance company. and then there's the arts exhibition which is a big hit! a lot of people went!
i just hope that they went to the exhibit because they're really interested about the pictures and paintings, and not just because of the artists. seulgi eonnie, jimin oppa, taehyung oppa, jungkook and the rest of the arts club really put a lot of effort into it. overall, it was amazing!
the photos were great, and the paintings were as great.
my personal favorite would be my jimin oppa's piece. he draw about the sea, and for some reason, when you look at it, there's a deeper point of view that pulls you into it. as if it's a song that says 'i miss you'.
jungkook's piece was special too.
"this is the universe." i commented as i look at his photo for the first time. he was standing behind me.
"yeah. i just randomly thought of that concept and it came out like that."
"it was beautiful." i looked at him and smiled, before looking back at the painting once more. "huh? there's nine planets in here. pluto is still here."
jungkook leaned closer, our faces are almost beside eachother as we both look at the painting. i think i kinda blushed. kinda... ugh, focus, rosie!
"well, yeah. i didn't want to leave it behind."
i looked at him, "i love y--i mean pluto! i love pluto. i never understood why they exclude pluto from being a planet and left it all behind. just because it's small and far, doesn't mean that it's not that important anymore, right? pluto is a part of the solar system, no matter what size it is. it isn't right to exclude something that you once put so much importance into."
jungkook stared at me. i couldn't figure out his expression. what does it mean?
then he smiled, "don't worry, rosie, pluto will always be a planet between us."
i nodded. "i would love that."
and then out of nowhere, jimin oppa put himself between jungkook and i, glaring.
the bonfire ceremony at the last day went by. the winners were awarded and jungkook's film was viewed to everyone. this year, i'm not shown in any of the video. it's okay, i like it that way. nevertheless, jungkook's film is finesse as usual. he got better at transition and clips are more critical. and it looks like everyone loves it this year too.
and now, it's back to normal once again in our school.

i giggled upon reading lisa's message to me. jihoon and jimin oppa were looking at me weirdly while jisung and joy eonnie only smiled.
"jungkook?" asked joy eonnie.
i shook my head, "lisa."
