CHAPTER 13:
park rosé's point of view
final exams are coming.
everyone are busy reviewing and trying to catch up in the lessons. we are all doing our best, pulling all nighters and worning out our health, just to complete our grades. for the mean tome, no more hang-outs, no more movie marathons, no more chilling. it's just us, our books, our reviewers and the test papers.
"hey cookie, i'm dying." i greeted the dog as i crash myself in my bed during my break in reviewing.
it's just the first day of the final exams and i'm already worn out.
cookie went to me and snuggled in my hair, i could only laugh as i reach for my phone. i took a selfie and posted it in my instagram story, with a caption 'stuDYING'
"noona?" jisung enterred my room, he was holding a tray with a plate of waffles and a glass of chocolate milk, he brought his books too. "let's study together. i need your help in english and math subjects."
i chuckled and let him sit beside me in my desk, goodthing my desk is like a conference table, so both our books and the food he brought are all there.
i was reading a paragraph in my biology book when my phone suddenly vibrated.
i should've put it away already or else i wont be able to focus.
but anyway, someone messaged me, maybe it won't hurt to check it.

i giggled making jisung looked at me, his baby eyes asking what's up. i just shooked my head and put my phone away after liking his reply. i wanted to reply back but that will just make the conversation continue and we won't be able to focus on reviewing. i just hope an opportunity like this comes again and that time hopefully, i could reply to him.
books before boys.
jisung and i studied all night until we found ourselves asleep in my table. i woke up around 3 in the morning so i reclined jisung's seat and made him sleep there, i also get him a blanket before i start to read again.

"man, today's exams are making my brain fry, and to think that we've only just half of the exams today, there's still another half to come!" lisa kept on whining as we eat lunch together.
it's just the two of us today, jennie eonnie was busy reviewing her lessons because she fell asleep last night and she couldnt review it all, and jisoo eonnie was helping her. i want to help too but i don't know their lessons, they're older than us after all.
"i'm pretty sure it isn't just your brain that's fried, lisa. your hair too."
out of nowhere, trays were placed in our table. followed by their owners who sat with us. i recognize them as lisa's classmates. the two who sat beside me are jaehyun and mingyu. while bambam and yugyeom sat beside lisa. eunwoo took the other side. and oh, jungkook was here too. he was frowning. why was he frowning?
"yah!" lisa was now scowling at bambam. "my hair's healthy, excuse you!"
"sure, that's why your bangs always stay in place."
lisa rolled her eyes, "why are you guys here anyway? don't disturb my date with rosie! you're crowding over her, go away!"
they were now all smiling at me. except for jungkook who was still frowning. what was his problem?
