Mack's pov

I had ended up making it home without cracking under the pressure. I'm more than 100% sure that they were so confused about what was wrong with me. I mean... I would be too. Like my friend just randomly passed out. Majorly scary. I had to tell them... I just didn't know how. I groaned out loud and went up to my room. Luckily my parent weren't home so I could have a serious breakdown on my own without them coming in.

I laid down on my bed and stared at my ceiling. I didn't know how to tell them. Or when. What if they thought I was a freak? Besides Taylor Sam and Colby are the only friends I have! I'm a loner so if I lose them I'd be crushed.

I was in the middle of my thoughts when

Knock
Knock
Knock
Knock, knock
Knock
Knock
Knock

"What?!" I yelled out at the annoying knocking

The door opened and Taylor came into my room.

"I heard about the fainting,"

I opened me mouth to speak

"Colby told me. I refused to tell him anything about it,"

I went to open my mouth again

"It's up to you if you want to tell them,"

I once again opened my mouth to speak but Taylor interrupted me

"No Mack, they're not gonna think you're a freak,"

"But what if they do?"

"Mack they won't,"

"How do you know?"

"Because Colby seemed very scared for you. He wanted to make sure that you'd be okay. I know he won't just informed you because of your condition,"

"Disease," I corrected her

"Oh same thing. The point is that you shouldn't be scared. Just tell him. I think that it'll relive a weight of the goth kid's shoulder"
