Mack's pov

If I'm being honest I'm glad that I told Colby.  I was sitting in class and the teacher was talking. That's when he said that we were going to do another assignment. We were going to have the same partners as last time. So it would be Colby and I again. She explained what it was going to be on when the bell rang. I went to my locker and put my stuff away because it was the end of the day. That's when Colby came up to me.

"Heyy partner," he laughed

"Hey!" I grabbed the bag out of my locker and closed it "want to come over and work on the assignment to get a head start?"

"Yeah,"

I grabbed the beanie off his head

"Hey!" He tried to grab it back

I laughed and he found a way to grab it back. I eventually gave it back to him and he immediately put it on over his hat hair.

"So there's a party tomorrow. You going?" He asked looking over at me as we walked down the hall

"I dunno. Parties aren't really my thing,"

"Oh come on Mack!"

"Colby I'm not a big party person"

"What if I told you that it was Gracie Lopez's party," he skipped a few times before turning around and facing me

"How'd you manage to get invited to that? I laughed

"The whole school is invited,"

"That doesn't make me a party person Colbs,"

"Doesn't matter when you get free stuff at her parties," He smiled like a dork

"You won't let this go will you?" I sighed

"Not til you say yes to come with me,"

"Fine I'll go to your stupid party,"

"Yay!" He cheered and did a little happy dance

"When is it?" I asked walking out the doors

"It's tomorrow at 8:00,"

"So when are you picking me up?l I asked

"7:45?"

"Deal," I said

"See you tomorrow Mackie!" He called walking off in the opposite direction of me

I smiled at his nickname before I stopped him.

"Colby Wait!"

He turned around.

"Wanna come over?" I asked

He smiled, "sure!"
