Vol. 2 Ch. 1 A Shocking Turn Of Events

I was woken up by an electric shock from my shock collar. I opened my eyes to see the metal chamber that I had been in for roughly 8 years. When I was abducted, they had put a metal bracelet on each of my wrists that kept me from being able to use my semblance. They also thought that it would be funny if they put a shock collar around my neck since I was a Cat Faunus. I was still wearing the same clothes from that day, which wear torn and stretched. I was pulled out of my thoughts by another shock from the collar, which was followed by a voice saying over the intercom, "Time to get moving, Subject 427!" I sighed at the voice. Its owner was the man in charge of the entire facility, Dr. Rick Tannen.

I slowly got up and saw a couple of his men, who were all wearing lab coats, walk into the chamber and over to me. They restrained me to the metal table in the chamber, while one of them wheeled in a machine, which almost looked like some type of medical equipment, and put it next to the table that I was strapped to. They started to connect several medical tubes, which had needles on the ends of each one, to the machine. Dr. Tannen said, "Alright, this test is to see how much Electricity Dust Subject 427 can be injected with before losing consciousness. Commencing injections."

The men nodded and proceeded stick the needles into me, 2 in my neck, 1 in each of my shoulders, 2 in each of my thighs, and 1 in each side of my torso. The men left the room and joined Dr. Tannen in the other room. They watched through the window and Dr. Tannen said, "Starting in 3.... 2.... 1...." Suddenly I saw a slow stream of yellow Dust start to flow into the each of the tubes. I watched as the Electricity Dust continued to flow through the tubes. Then I started screaming in agonizing pain as I felt the Dust flow into my bloodstream. It made my entire body feel like it was being electrocuted. It was sharp jolts of pain, surround by an unbearable sharp tingling feeling. I was in so much pain that I didn't notice the bolts of electricity jolting between my body and the walls of the chamber.

Just as I thought I was going to lose consciousness, the pain stopped and the lights went out. As the emergency lights turned on, I heard Dr. Tannen yelling at his men, "What the hell happened?" I heard one reply, "Sir, it appears that someone or something knock out the power. It's probably a Grimm that was attracted to Subject 427's pain." I then heard Dr. Tannen say furiously, "Well then, let's go take care of it!" They run off, leaving me on the table, unable to move any part of my body due to the pain I had just endured. I sighed in relief that the pain had stopped. Just then, I heard what sounded like yelling and gunfire, which was followed a few minutes later by silence. 

I heard several pairs of footsteps coming in the direction of the chamber. Then I saw 4 people, who I had never seen before, enter into the other room and I could tell that they weren't any of Tannen's men. Both scared and unable to move, I kept quiet. Suddenly one of them said, "I don't think we got rid of all of them." Another one replied, "What do you mean, Fox?" The first one said, "I'm sensing another Aura in next room over. It's weak, but there's definitely someone in there." I heard the door open, which was followed by someone gasping and a lovely female voice saying, "Coco, he's right! There's someone in here and they're strapped to a metal table!" I heard the other 3 come into the chamber.

The one who had asked whoever Fox was approached me first and said, "My name is Coco Adel. These are my teammates. We are from Beacon Academy. Are you okay?" I replied, "N-no, I'm not. I've b-been held here f-for about 8 years, I think. The people here have been experimenting on me everyday." The big guy approached me and said, "My name is Yatsuhashi. I'm going to remove your restraints, okay?" I nodded as best as I could and said, "Okay." He removed the restraints and helped me sit up. Coco noticed the shock collar and said, "Did they put this on you because you're a Faunus?" I nodded again. She took it off, along with the Semblance-dampening bracelets. The rabbit Faunus who found me approached me, smiled warmly, and said, "Hey, my name is Velvet. What's your name?" I replied, "Y/N L/N. I like your ears."

She blushed slightly and said, "Thanks, I like your ears too. Now, Y/N, we're going to get you out of here. Are you able to walk?" I shook my head and replied, "I can't feel my body after the last experiment." She looked at Yatsuhashi and he said, "I can carry him." She smiled and said, "Don't worry, Y/N. We're taking you somewhere safe." I felt a tear roll down my face and I said, "Thank you." Yatsuhashi picked me up and carried me out of the building. The sunlight outside was blinding, especially since I hadn't seen any actual sunlight in years. When they brought me to a Bullhead, I finally gave in and lost consciousness.

This is probably the longest Ch. 1 that I've ever written before. I hope you all enjoyed it  and enjoy this fanfic.
