I put my Scroll back in my pocket and waited. After a while, I heard a knock on the door to the study room. I got up and opened the door. I saw Velvet standing there and I said, "Thank you for coming." She went in and I shut the door behind her. We both sat down next to each other on the same side of the table. I held my arm nervously and said, "Velvet, can I be 100% honest to you about something?" She nodded and said, "Of course." I sighed and said, "Well, there's this girl who I've grown feelings for. The problem is, I don't know if she feels that way about me. And I don't want to ruin my friendship with her if she doesn't feel the same." Velvet looked down and said, "Well, have you tried to ask her how she feels?" I shook my head and said, "No. How do you feel?" Velvet looked at me and said, "Huh? What do you mean?" I looked down, sighed, and said softly, "The girl I like is you, Velvet."
I heard Velvet reply, "R-really? Y-you like me?" I nodded slowly and said, "Yeah, but I'm actually in love with you." Then I felt a hand on my chin. Velvet lefted my head up to make me look at her. Then she said, "I love you too, Y/N. You're always so kind, nice, and protective to me. I didn't say anything because I didn't think you felt the same way." I smiled and said, "You were the first person that was nice to me in years. Ever since you rescued me, I couldn't stop thinking about you. I love you, Velv." She smiled and leaned closer to me. Then she planted her lips onto mine and we shared an amazing and passionate kiss. She wrapped her arms around my neck and got into the kiss even more. It was pure bliss. When we pulled away for air, I said, "Velvet, will you be my girlfriend?" She smiled and said, "Of course!" We kissed again. Then we both parted and held hands as we headed to the cafeteria for lunch.
