Velvet's POV
I met the rest of my team in the dorm and said, "I'm here. What's up?" Yatsu added, "Yeah, what do you want to tell us?" Coco took a deep breath and said, "Professor Ozpin wanted me to let you know that Y/N is going to be staying at Beacon. And if Ozpin thinks that Y/N should train and learn here, then I agree. Also, Ozpin told me that─" Fox cut her off and said, "That Y/N is joining our team?" Coco looked at him and Fox said with his semblance, I can sense his aura right outside the door. I gasped and opened the door to reveal Y/N standing there both shock and cautious.
He waved awkwardly and said, "Hey, guys. Professor Ozpin said that I would be on your team?" Coco nodded and said, "That's right, but first, I'm taking you to the mall to do something about your outfit." He nodded and said, "Can I ask you guys something?" She nodded and said, "Sure." He sighed and said, "Will you guys help me train to be stronger?" Coco looked at the rest of us and I said, "Of course." Coco then looked at him and said, "That reminds me, while we're out, we are getting you a weapon." Y/N scratched the back of his head and said, "About that, I already have a weapon. I didn't have it on me when I was abducted, but my parents kept it. They gave it to me before they left earlier." He pulled out a futuristic looking blue arrow from his pocket and said, "I call it Equinox. I can control its movement by whistling. But I'm kinda rusty with it since I haven't used it in 8 years."
Yatsu nodded and said, "Well, we can help you with that." Y/N nodded and started to tear up a bit. Then he said, "I also just wanted to say thank you all for saving me." We all smiled a proceeded to give him a group hug. Then we started to introduce ourselves. When it was Fox's turn, Y/N looked at him and said, "I don't want this to come off as rude, but are you blind?" Fox smiled and said, "I am blind. But I don't mind it." Y/N nodded and said, "Oh. Okay." Then Coco said, "Okay, Y/N. You and I are going to the mall now to get you a new outfit." He held his arm shyly and said, "Okay." Then Coco and Y/N left.
