(A/N: Since I started this book in Volume 2, I been thinking about having this book not follow the RWBY story line. In other words, I'm not going to worry about the main storyline of the show for this book. It'll be easier to not worry about it. Sorry if you wanted me to have it follow the show, but it would be very hard to write it then. But I'm not saying that Y/N won't meet Team RWBY or Team JNPR. Also there's a chance that this book might end up being shorter than my others. I will make it as long as I can unless I run out of ideas.)

Velvet's POV
It's been a few months since we found and rescued Y/N. I've noticed that he's improved quite a bit in his ability to fight. We've been sharing the same bed since it has helped him sleep better. He was still asleep so I just laid there in bed and thought to myself, He's been so nice to me. I think I've developed a crush on him, but I'm too shy to act on it. Besides if he doesn't feel the same way about me, it could ruin our friendship. I just really hope that I'll be able to control myself when my heat starts.
Your POV
I yawned and opened my eyes to see Velvet still laying beside me. I thought to myself, I can't stop thinking about her. I think I might have feelings for her. But she probably doesn't feel the same way towards me. I yawned again and said, "Good morning, Velvet." She rolled over to face me and said, "Good morning, Y/N." I smiled and said, "I'm kinda hungry, so how about we go get breakfast?" She smiled and said, "Sure, let's get changed first." I nodded and got changed in the bathroom. As we were eating breakfast, I felt my Scroll go off and saw a message from Coco.

I put my Scroll back in my pocket and said, "Hey, Velv. Professor Ozpin wants to see me after breakfast." She nodded and said, "Okay." After we finished eating, I went to the courtyard to meet with Coco. I found her standing by the statue waiting. She saw me and said, "There you are. Come with me." Then she dragged me to the library and into a vacant study room. She shut and locked the door and said, "Okay, I want you to be completely honest with me. How do you feel about Velvet?" I looked at her uneasy and said, "I... um..." Coco smiled and said, "You have a crush on her, don't you?"
I looked at her wide-eyed and said, "How did you know?" She smiled and said, "It's kinda obvious, you're always with her. You protect and care about her." I looked down and said, "Yeah. But I doubt that she feels that way about me." Coco smirked and said, "Well, have you asked her?" I shook my head and said, "No." Coco said, "Then how can you know how she feels about you if you don't ask her?" I nodded and said, "You're right." She smiled and said, "Besides, you might like what you hear if you ask her." I looked up and said, "Really? You think so?" Coco smirked and said, "You'll never know if you don't ask her." I nodded and said, "You're right, Coco. Thanks." She smiled and said, "No problem, Y/N."
