Chapter 6

.•Bonding•.

     "Who's there?!" Kanao said as she turned to see Giyuu who was now standing in front of her.
     "Giyuu..." I whispered but I could tell he heard me because he gave me a quick glance. He had changed from his school uniform and was now wearing a suit. I wonder why? He was also recording us with his phone.
     "I heard your voice Kanao. I could tell you were up to no good again, so I started recording before coming here. But I'm more surprised to see you bullying a new student." Giyuu said expressionless, but with a harsh tone. "It would be shameful if I sent this to the principal."
     "You wouldn't dare...!" Kanao sneered angrily, but when Giyuu just kept staring at her she turned to me. "Shinobu, Kanae, let her go we have more important things to deal with..." They just nodded and did what they told. They all quickly walked away leaving me on the ground with Giyuu, who was now walking towards me.
     "Your knee is bleeding badly." Giyuu said as he squatted down and pointed at my left knee.
     I didn't notice before, but he was right.. my knee was bleeding badly. I tried to move it, but I winced in pain with the sudden movement.
     "Don't move. I'll carry you home instead." Giyuu suddenly took me in his arms and was now carrying me. He was warm.. his embrace was warm as well. This was so sudden my face turned bright red from embarrassment once again.
     "T-Thank you! M-My house is down the street from here..." I looked up and found Giyuu silently staring at me. He must've realized he was staring, because he looked up quickly and started walking. It wasn't that long of a walk either. We made it to the front door of my house within five minutes.
     "We're here Giyuu." I told him, but he said he wouldn't put me down until I was safe inside. There was no point in arguing so I told him where my house keys were in my bag. He opened the door afterwards and brought me inside slowly. I was greeted with many worried servants who were now asking millions of questions to the both of us. "Don't worry you guys! I just fell and scraped my knee badly. Luckily my friend here was nearby and carried me here..."
     Giyuu eyed me, but he just nodded in agreement.  Thank god he didn't tell them, I didn't want them to worry about me again. One of the servants told Giyuu to set me down on a chair in the kitchen. He did what he was told, but didn't leave until the servants had finished wrapping my knee with bandages.
     "Giyuu.. you didn't have to stay, but thank you." I told him, when the servants had finally finished.
     "It's not a problem. I'm glad you didn't get hurt any further by Shinobu and..." he trailed off when he said her name.
     "Shinobu?" I asked him. "Is she someone you know?"
     "She..." Giyuu's voice had pain in it, so I slowly got up from my chair and made my way to where he was sitting. I patted his shoulder slowly since he was looking down at the floor. He jolted from my sudden touch.. he was deep in thought.
     "It's okay Giyuu, you don't have to tell me nor will I pressure you to tell me." I smiled to reassure him that it was okay.
     He gave me a slight smile, "Thank you... the thing is Shinobu was once my girlfriend. I'm not sure what happened, but she changed so much... so much to the point where I decided to break up with her."
I wasn't expecting to hear that from Giyuu at all.. he used to date Shinobu? Now that I think about it, Shinobu was very pretty with her black hair that fades into a dark purple at her ends. She also has very pretty purple eyes, and looked very similar to Kanae, well all three of them looked very similar.
"I'm sorry Giyuu..." I've never dated anyone before, because the guys back in my old school were complete jerks. Since I had no experience I didn't know what to say to these kinds of things as well.
"It's okay. I feel better telling someone about my feelings... anyways" Giyuu got up and fixed his jacket. "I have to get going now (Y/N) I have somewhere important to go."
"Okay.. where are you going dressed like that? If you don't mind me asking." I wanted to ask him ever since I saw him wearing that suit.
"Ah... I'm heading to a family dinner. My older sister is getting married soon, so this is like a small celebration before the huge day." Giyuu said as he grabbed his things.
"You have an older sister! So cute!! I wish her happiness with her future husband then." Giyuu was shocked with what I said but just kept silent. I walked him to the door afterwards and told him to be safe on his way to the family dinner.
I was about to close the door until Giyuu suddenly turned around and said, "Hey (Y/N) are you free this weekend?"
"Huh... yeah I am. Why?" I asked as I opened the door again. Giyuu was.. blushing? I couldn't tell but his cheeks seemed to have a small tint of red on them.
"Would you like to go with me somewhere? Well, to meet some other friends of mine that is. They go to a different high school, but they're idols as well. I would like some company..." Giyuu struggles trying to get his words out of his mouth.
l laughed at his sudden struggle which made him look away. "Sure why not? I would love to visit Tokyo more and see new places!" Giyuu smiled.. he then asked to share contacts and so we did. He said he's going to text me later the time and where we should meet for the weekend. Though he will explain more at school tomorrow as well.
After that I waved him goodbye as he left, and went back in my house when he turned the corner. I was very happy to be honest. I got Giyuu to talk a lot more now! He seemed to have open up a little to me and that made me really happy.
Later evening I got a text from both Tanjirou and Giyuu. Yeah, I also exchanged numbers with Tanjirou during lunch today. Tanjirou told me how Nezuko's piano performance went. His texts radiated warmth for some odd reason as I read them.
"Tanjirou had a good time.. I'm glad," my cheeks flushed red at the thought of seeing Tanjirou's cute smile tomorrow. An hour later I also got a text from Giyuu, his family dinner seemed to have gone pretty well. I was happy for him. He's actually a really nice caring guy when you get to know him haha.
"I can't wait to see everyone tomorrow again," I said as I put my phone down on my desk. It was getting late now, so I'm calling it a night.
Looking at the ceiling now as I laid on my bed, I couldn't help but smile. I met so many good people and I was now also a step closer to my dream. I'm looking forward for the trip with Giyuu as well.
     Tanjirou also texted me saying he had something important to tell me tomorrow. He said it was something exciting, nothing bad at all, so I'm now excited to hear about it. Sleep came to me soon after.

I'm really tired, so I'm going to take a nap after I publish this. Fyi there might be some typos and bad grammar!! I'll reread my story and fix them when I wake up from my nap later.
