.•Date•.
It was a sunny Saturday morning. Giyuu and I had planned to meet each other in front of the school building at ten in the morning. I slowly got out off bed.. the clock read 8:30 am
"Should be enough time." I said as I slowly trudged to my closet with my sleepy self.. Giyuu's voice kept replaying in my mind. 'A date with (Y/N)' my cheeks burned thinking about what he said yesterday.
"If this is a date what the hell should I even wear?" Frustrated now looking through my clothes. A dress? Would that be too flashy... jeans would be too simple. I had no fashion sense so at the end I picked out a white long sleeve blouse that matches with my Korean Black and white checkered skirt. Yeah, I love wearing this back at home so why not wear it to a date.
Setting the clothes on my head I head to my bathroom which is connected to my room. I took a long thirty minute hot shower. It was great and heavenly... as I got out of my bathroom with my towel on I glanced at the clock.
"9:20 I have enough time." I dressed myself and put on ankle socks along with a pair of white shoes. I was about to leave until I remembered I didn't even brush my hair. "I'm such an idiot" I scolded myself as I once again returned to my bathroom to comb my hair. By the time I was done the clock read 9:40 signaling me that it was time to go.
Telling my servants where I was going and to not worry about me, I started heading off. The summer breeze welcomed me as I stepped out of my house. It was nice outside... nothing like back in the US. Walking down the street towards school I noticed some kind of idol poster hanged up on various store windows.
"Whoa.. its a poster for Tanjirou's idol group!" Tanjirou's group kept getting more popular with each day and that made me happy for him, because he deserves it all.
Finally seeing the school building up ahead I started smiling. This day is going to be filled with fun Giyuu! As I got nearer I started making out Giyuu in the distant. He was wearing a white long sleeve shirt and a jet black jean. He looked very cute in those clothes... also counting the fact that he had his hair tied up in a ponytail as usual.
"Hi Giyuu-S— I mean Giyuu," I had forgotten he had said to just call him by his first name.
"Good morning (Y/N)," he trailed off as soon as he saw me. I could've sworn I saw him blush for a second, but he quickly fixed his composure and came closer to me. "...you're very cute today (Y/N)."
"T-Thank you," his compliment caught me way off guard. I wasn't even expecting him to say such a thing in the first place, but hearing him say that made me so happy.
"Should we go now?" Giyuu asked and I nodded in response. He then started leading the way to the subway station since I had no clue where they were at. I kept close behind Giyuu so that I wouldn't lose him.. and so I wouldn't get lost myself. We were at the subway station waiting for our train in no time.
"(Y/N), today's trip will be long so we might not be back until late at night. I hope you're okay with that." Giyuu said as we waiting for our train. Even though there were various people talking and waiting in this place I could still hear Giyuu's voice perfectly.
"That's okay! I figured as well and told my servants in advance and they said they hope you protect me or they will come hunt you down." I chuckled as I said that jokingly, but Giyuu just nodded not even amused by my joke.
Silence overtook us, but the train arrived in the next five minutes. Getting on wasn't that hard, sure there were a lot of people but we were one of the first people to get on and get a seat.
"Where are we going again Giyuu?" I had once again forgotten where we were going to meet his friends at.
"We're going downtown Tokyo." He said expressionless.
The ride was half an hour long, but it passed by rather quick because I was amazed with the view. The view was so mesmerizing that I must've had an awe look because Giyuu smiled as he looked at me. Sitting back down, now embarrassed, I started talking with him about Tokyo... which of course he responded with no emotion.
When we finally got to our destination there was even more people waiting to get on than the people who were onboard. Giyuu suddenly took my hand in his, which shocked me.
"G-Giyuu.." I started saying.
"I'm doing this so we don't get separated by the crowd." He looked sternly at the window, waiting for the train doors to open. I just nodded in response as we waited for the train to open their doors.
As soon as the door opened we were swarmed with people trying to get in and the people who were trying to get out. I kept being pushed around, but Giyuu kept holding my hand sternly. If anything he was holding my hand a lot tighter now.
Finally reaching outside of the subway I let out a huge sigh of relief. "I-I don't think huge crowds like that are my thing."
Giyuu let out a soft laugh.. "(Y/N)... I don't think you should be saying that if you want to become an Idol."
My cheeks flushed red in embarrassment, "I-I didn't meant it like that!" Giyuu just scuffed a response and started walking down the street. I quickly followed and we started our way to meet Sabito and Makomo.
Giyuu told me their names during our way here. He didn't say much after, just the fact that they were very close friends of him since childhood. I smiled at the thought of Giyuu playing with them when they were all small.
By the time we reached the place they had agreed to meet it was starting to get dark. We were waiting in the corner of a street that split into another two streets. The streets was colorful, filled with colored lamps and signs from every store. People kept walking minding their own business.
I was about to ask Giyuu something but then I heard soft female voice, "Hey Giyuu!!" I turned around and was greeted by two good looking people.
One was a girl who has deep cyan color eyes, her hair went down to her shoulders which spiked out. She was very cute... nothing like me even her style was beyond mines. She was wearing a pink shirt adorned with white flowers and an orange shirt underneath that. She was wearing a jean that I've never seen in my life, it suit her very well. She also wore a long coat above that and a small purse that draped on her side. With a chain necklace and what seemed like split toe boots. I was mesmerized with her unique style.
Besides her stood another guy. He was more simple, but he still stood out from me. His grayish lavender eyes along with a scar on his right cheek is what made him stand out. His spike peach color hair also reached down to his shoulders. He wore a green shirt that was adorned with geometric hexagons of yellow and a darker shade of green. Along with that he wore a red and white jacket and a pair of blue jeans. He also had a purse on his side.
Looking back at Giyuu he went to greet them. Even with their unique style they both had one thing in common besides the purse. They both wore fox masks on the side of their heads.
"Long time no see Giyuu!" The guy named Sabito said as he pulled Giyuu in a hug and Makomo coming and joining in. This sight was very cute and I just smiled at them. I was happy seeing Giyuu being with more people.
As if realizing I was there Giyuu pulled away and signaled me to come closer which I did. "I want you to meet.. a new friend of mine—" he started saying but was cut off by both Makomo and Sabito who gasped.
"You finally met someone else!" Makomo squealed and suddenly threw herself at me giving me a bear hug. "I'm so glad!! Thank you for being friends with Giyuu, he's so bad at making friends but he's really kind!!"
Giyuu peeled Makomo off of me, "Yeah she's a friend, her name is (Y/N) and she plans on becoming and idol along with use."
Sabito stares at me.. he didn't say anything at all ever since Giyuu introduced me. "I see.. it's nice to meet you (Y/N). Me and Makomo are a duel idols for our school here and we don't plan to lose to anyone in the idol festival."
As if encouraging me my cheeks flushed red, "A competition? I'm on." I said looking at Sabito sternly and he smiled at my response as if glad to hear that. The rest of the night we walked and kept on talking about idols and what they were planning to do. It was very fun, we also stopped at a restaurant to have a small meal. Giyuu kept insisting for paying for my meal but I tricked him and payed for his meal instead. I was having so much fun here.. Makomo was so kind and had a personality that radiates happiness. Sabito was.. soft his words might be harsh but I could tell he said it with honesty.
We were now walking down the streets late at night. Even though it was dark it didn't seem to have made a dent in the crowds. There were still many people flooding the streets and I have yet to see any store close down.
"(Y/N)!" Makomo grabbed my hand, "let's go over here guys!!" She yelled at Giyuu and Sabito who started sprinting behind us. Makomo might be small and petite, but she was very agile. I was barely keeping up with her as she pulled me into a store.
"Makomo not again!" I heard Sabito whine as they entered the store. "You always lose yourself when you get in an idol clothes shop!"
"It's for (Y/N)! If she's going to become an idol soon I want to help her find a style that fits her perfectly." She smiled at me, I was in awe.. she was so kind and this store.. IT WAS HUGE.An hour hour had passed and I've already tried out various of clothes. They were all cute, but Makomo always said 'Something is missing.' I wasn't sure what she meant, but I kept trying on every clothes she kept bringing to me in the changing room.
"Makomo we should be heading home soon." I heard Giyuu say but with a hit of complaint in his tone. I chuckled as I heard that even Makomo laughed.
"Don't mind him (Y/N).. I think I finally found the perfect clothes for you!""ARE YOU READY TO SEE (Y/N)?!" I heard Makomo's voice from outside the fitting room. I wasn't ready for this..
Makomo really went overboard this time ever since 'she finally found my perfect style.' She looked for shoes and even socks, she even styled my hair which was now adorned with red ribbons along with pink cherry blossom pins.
"Come out (Y/N)!" She said.
Getting in all my courage I started my way out of the fitting room. I couldn't help but think... 'What would Giyuu think of me in this?' But deep inside I was also thinking about Tanjirou...Published May 23, 2020
