We're going back... back to the demon slayer era. This special story revolves around that time period, and actually happened in (Y/N)'s past life.

(Y/N)'s POV

Where am I? It all happened so quickly... looking around my surroundings I found myself in what seemed to be a small forest. I quickly realized this was the forest that's outside of Shinobu's estate.
     Getting up... I started remembering what had happened. Today was Halloween everyone had gathered together in Shinobu's estate to celebrate together. It was really enjoyable... mostly since I was with Tanjirou, but that quickly changed. There was a loud crashing sound and all the lights were cut out and a laughter had suddenly filled the room. A demon by the name of... Heather had appeared, she said she meant no harm and wouldn't hurt anyone. She was a demon who only woke during Halloween to do tricks and pranks. This year she decided to do it within the demon slayer estates.
     She had filled the room with black and gray smoke... I tried to hold my breathe but it was too late and I lost conscious.
Looking up from my thoughts I wasn't that far in the forest luckily, and before I knew it I was already out and saw Shinobu's estate not too far ahead.
     "That demon must find this really amusing," I mumbled making my way back to the estate. The Halloween party was going so well too... everyone was having fun, even me. We even wore cute costumes, including Tanjirou. I smiled thinking back at the cute costume he was wearing. It was simple but it was really cute. He was wearing dog ears and even a tail along with a red collar around his neck. He said this year he wanted to dress as a wolf... which I found really cute.
Creak
     I jumped from the sudden noise I heard when I made it to the front door. I quickly grabbed my kantana and slowly moved inside. It was late at night, I couldn't let my guard down now.
     Walking inside the estate... I felt as if someone was watching me. Though the presence didn't felt hostile at all, I couldn't help but keep my guard up.

     Then it happened.

It happened so quick.

     Something had jumped on top of me and I fell onto the ground from the impact, dropping my kantana as well. I felt a warm sensation at the base of my neck... something was licking me?! My eyes still couldn't make out the figure since I had hit my head really hard on the floor from the impact and having no lights didn't help at all as well.
     This... thing was so overwhelming I couldn't even move. Its body was on top of mines, and as if knowing my movements it quickly pinned both my arms besides me. The thing kept on licking my neck, and I couldn't do anything at all. Various minutes had passed... I was now panting. This was too much... the thing kept on licking, but it was now panting as well as if wanting something even more.

     Pain

     The thing suddenly bit my neck and I let out a pleasurable 'ahhh~' but I quickly stopped myself. What was happening?! Why does this feel so good... it felt so good to the point that I want to ask for more.
     "(Y/N)?" A familiar voice called out my name, "are you here?"
     Relief swift over my body. "Zenitsu!!" I called out his name, "I'm over here there's something on top of me...! It's too heavy please!!" I said with an urge in my tone, but right as I said that the thing clasped my mouth and was now licking my cheeks and was about to kiss me until it was yanked off me.
     "(Y/N)!! Are you okay?!" Zenitsu yelled out worriedly as he grabbed the thing in his arms.
     "Is it a demon...?" I asked as I finally regained my senses and my sanity back.
     "(Y/N)...." Zenitsu said, "This thing is actually... Tanjirou." He let out with an angered expression.
     "T-TANJIROU?!" I rapidly got up and quickly ran to Zenitsu. Just then I realized that it was Tanjirou, but he had changed. He wasn't human... he had become what his costume was... a wolf. Though not entirely turned into a wolf... he still looked the same. His faked dog ears and tail had become real. He now had fangs and his pupils also changed. He seemed to lost his human self, because he was acting so much wolf like. I suppose you could say he's a where wolf? He kept looking at me and wagging his tail and smiled so happily.
     Looking at Zenitsu I almost yelled. "ZENTSU YOU'RE A MICE?!" Just like Tanjirou, Zenitsu also changed into his costume. He wore a mice costume, but now his mice ears and tail were real.
     "Yeah... but at least I can speak unlike Tanjirou... he's become very... feral."
     Tanjirou made a whimpering sound as Zenitsu said that to him. Even though he no longer could talk, he could very well still understand us.
     "Zenitsu leave Tanjirou alone... at least he's really cute," I smiled and told Zenitsu to let him go. He did as I told him, and Tanjirou happily came to my side. He seemed to like me... I was happy, but I wanted to turn him back along with Zenitsu. "Did you find anyone else Zenitsu?"
     "Well... I think from how you didn't change, this demon's skill must've turned anyone who had costumes to whatever the wearer had on.
     "OI!!! MONITSUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!" I knew it was Inosuke before I even saw him. He came crashing head on into Zenitsu with his mask on.
     "WHY MEEEEEEE YOU IDIOT," Zenitsu wailed out as he was knocked out by Inosuke. I couldn't help but laugh, it was nice to see Inosuke again.
     "I'm glad you're still the same Inosuke," I told him after he finally calmed down.
     "OF COURSE! This mask prevented me from inhaling such thing!" He was now boasting once more and even more now since Tanjirou got affected by it.
