Chapter 6: The Venatio

Charlotte's POV

I was currently walking when I turned around and immediatly threw one of my throwing knife. "Ouchh!!" sigaw niya at napahawak sa kaniyang dumudugong left chin. "How did you know I was approaching you? tanong niya. "Instincts." I answered and took out some blumea balsamitera a.k.a. hagal camphor and placed it in her left chin. "This will help the wound heal faster." i said, but she looked shocked from my actions so I just took my throwing knife from the tree and left.

Nagpapahinga nah sana ako nang may 2 babaeng sumugod sa akin hawak hawak ang kanilang katana. Kaya sinipa ko ang isa sa may tiyan habang i twisted the hand nung isang babae and pilit nah sugatan siya sa kaniyang bandang gilid gamit ang sarili niyang katana. And vóila, 1 down, 1 more to go. Nang nakatayo nah ulit yong babae I took an arrow, aimed it, released it at tumama rin ito sa bandang gilid niya. And same as before, linagyan ko ng medical plants ang kanilang sugat at iniwan sila.

While waiting for more students to attack me, may nakita akong wild boar. Tamang tama, gutom nah ako. I took out an arrow and hit the boar at its head, so it has no chance of surviving. I remember the first time i encountered a boar was when I got chased by one, while hunting. It tripped me and when I fell to the ground, it used its sharp tusks and injured me. After its initial attack, it stepped back and was about to attack again when i took out my pistol and shot it.

When my dad and brothers arrive, they saw me wounded with a dead boar near me. It was the first time I ever used a gun, and I made a promise that I will only harm those who will harm me. Well enough story telling, I gathered some fire woods and started to roast the boar.

As I started eating, I also began thinking. I think i've already injured more than a dozen students. All of which who tried to injur me. And as always, I gave them medicine plants and umalis nah. burp* napahawak ako sa aking tiyan, busog... Matutulog sana ako nang may estudyante nanamang sumugod sa akin. "Here we go again."

A few hours later*

Nawala nah ang liwanag at napalitan ito nang nang dilim. "Ganyan naman talaga ang buhay, palaging may napapalitan, forever is nothing but a fairytale. It doesn't exist." I whisphered.

Nabigla nalang ako nang may fireworks sa langit na nagsasabing "Last three" ibig bah sabihin nun ay tatlo nalang kami? Akala ko yon lang, ngunit may iba naman itong na porma. "Goodluck we're watching" weird.. Sekhmet also said that earlier. I just erased confusing thoughts from my minds and started running. I have no idea where i'm headed but I hope i'll find the other two left so all of this will be over. And it's just my luck cause i noticed a boy playing with throwing knives. I took out my own, and threw it at him.

But to my suprise, naka iwas siya. "Charlotte?" "L-Luke?" I tried to hold back my tears but I couldn't. He tried to approach me, so I dropped my knife and took an arrow and aimed my bow at him. "Don't move or i'll hit you in your arm." I warned him, "I know you won't do that." he replied. "You don't know me. You don't know what pain makes people do." "Just please dont shoot, I'll expalin everything." "You had a chance to expalin when I ended things. But you didn't say anything besides 'okay'. It was like two years is nothing for you."

Magsasalita nah sana siya, but then I released an arrow at the student hiding at the bushes but I was too late because he already released an arrow. So I pushed Luke away and got hit by the arrow meant for him. "Ahhhh hell!!" Sigaw namin parehas nung estudyanteng natamaan ko. "Charlotte! Don't move, the wound looks deep." sabi ni Luke. "I can see that Luke, I'm not blind." "Hell!! Just don't move..." So I did as what he said, I did not move an inch, kulang nah lang ay hindi ako huminga.

Ilang minuto na ang nakapilas nung dinaluhan niya ang aking sugat. But it didn't help, my stomach still hurts like hell. "It still hurts Luke." Both emotionally and physically, but hindi niya ako sinagot. I started to feel dizzy at nabigla nalang ako nang napalibutan nah kami ng medic. That's the last thing I remembered before everything went black.
