There is always a reason,

Behind the tears we cry.

My heart doesn't want to go through with this early goodbye.

But lately it feels like you are already gone,

And I am left with no choice but to...

Move on

A/N: Sorry in advance (again) .... It's all about the journey :)

Perrie's POV:

Thanks to Jade and her genius plan, we managed to reach the bus station without being spotted. The worst part was waiting patiently for everyone to return home and head to bed. Miraculously, nobody bothered to check inside the house. I do feel guilty about leaving but at least it's not forever. I hope they find space in their hearts to forgive me.

The bus to Tasman Bay takes approximately five hours. Jade and I were able to purchase one of  the last tickets. I am excited to see Alex but I am equally sad about leaving Jade. We have been together almost twenty-four seven for the last few days and I am finding it difficult to imagine my life without her.

"Thank you for coming with me and for saving me ...... again", I say to Jade, as I turn towards her.

It's still pitch black outside. Not that there is much of a view, one farmland after another. The bus is travelling at a gentle pace, as there is a high chance of wildlife crossing the roads in this area. Unlike previous times, I am not rushing to get reach Tasman Bay.

"Anytime, thanks for saving me", Jade replies softly.

"How did I save you?" I ask, whilst raising my eyebrows at her.

"You just did," she says looking back out the window.

"But how exactly did I save you?" I repeat, bewildered by her words.

Jade sighs heavily then begins to speak.

"You know on the train when you came to get me from the inter compartment area... before the ticket collector showed up...", she whispers softly.

"Yea", I say, encouraging her to continue.

"Well, I wasn't exactly getting fresh air... I was about to jump off", Jade answers. Her toffee brown eyes flicker with sadness, as I try to process her confession. If I hadn't seen her lips moving I would have thought I was hearing voices. A moment of silence follows, words have left me. I continue staring at Jade, as my heart begins to fade.
