I laid on my bed while I heard both Britney and Josh argue outside my bedroom door. It had been an entire day since I hadn't gotten outta bed. It was only expected for them to begin to worry. Petra had also swung by to try and get me to open up but I also ignored her. The only one that had not come to see me was my Father. He had gone out to an important business meeting out of the city. Even if our relationship was a bit rocky these past few days I still missed him. Especially now that my world felt like it was crumbling down right before my eyes. Sad thing was that I couldn't do much about it. Flashbacks of last night played in my mind as I gripped tightly onto the pillow. Tears began to flow down my cheeks as I vividly heard Landons cruel words echoing in my ears. . . . "Landon please stop! Hear me out!"
"I don't want too hear it! I saw enough!"
"Cedric set me up! You gotta believe me!"
"JUST STOP IT JADE!! I SAW YOU ALRIGHT!"
He continued to walk away from me as I ran behind him trying to catch up to his speed. "Landon please listen to me!" He suddenly turned around and furiously shouted "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO HEAR HUH!? HOW GOOD HE FUCKED YOU!? DAMMIT JADE JUST LOOK HOW HE LEFT YOUR LIP FOR FUCK SAKES!". I quickly hugged him from the waist as I began to cry while trying to explain to him how that happened. Though it was completely useless he wouldn't reason with me. His anger had blinded him from seeing the truth.
"Baby please let me explain to you!"
"Don't call me that!"
"Okay I won't! But please listen to what I have to say!"
He turned to look at me once more and with anger filling his eyes. He aggressively took a hold of me "Ouch! You're hurting me Landon!" I shrieked in pain which only pissed him off even more. "Don't you fucking tell me you're hurting right now Jade! You don't know what the fuck I'm feeling right now!". My eyes blurred in hot tears as he said the next few words that left me both speechless and heartbroken. "GET THIS THROUGH YOUR FUCKIN HEAD! I WILL NEVER LOVE A CUNNING SLUT! IT'S OVER! YOU HEAR ME!? OVER!!". . . . I turned my pillow trying to get a dry side of it. From all the crying I had been doing I had soaked it wet. Not being able to sleep I stood up and walked into my closet. I lifted a large trunk where I kept most of the pictures of my mom and I. Underneath a section of the wooden floor there was a small treasure box I hid inside. Carefully taking it out I then headed back to my bed. As I opened it a picture of my mom and I slipped out. I had treasured that picture more than the rest for one reason only.
