I ran as fast as my aching feet could take me. "I do". Those terrifying words kept echoing in my head as the cold wind harshly blew upon my face. The reality of now being tied to someone so evil as Cedric Wesley still didn't sink in. I couldn't accept the fact that I was now married to the only man I despised with everything in me. Why! Why did he have to cross my path! I continued thinking as I felt quickly going madly insane.
Not being able to run further away I dropped on my knees near a large tree. As I wept I was able to still clearly hear the Priest condemnation "I now pronounce you husband and wife". I didn't dare stay another single minute. Immediately turning away from Cedric I ran towards the exit and left. Not thinking about the consequences nor about what people would say. All I wanted was to breathe. If I stayed one more minute I would've suffocated.
Even if it was still hard to breathe I at least had found peace around me. No more fake smiles. I was completely alone. For once I could be transparent and show my real emotions. Yet the thought of being Cedric's wife haunted me every got damn second. Making it difficult for me to think of anything else at all. Until my eyes spotted a medium size white fluffy dog running towards me. I wiped the tears off my eyes. At first not believing what I was seeing I mistakenly thought it was Cuddles. A warm smile formed on my face as I remembered the last time I had seen that cute little pup. . . "Landon! Give him to me!"
"No..Your Dad won't let you keep him..So he's better off at my moms"
"Ugh but I won't be able to see him!"
"Baby I promise you will..I'll take you to see Cuddles anytime you want"
"What about your mom?"
"What about her?"
"Well what if she's there?? You still haven't introduced me as your girlfriend to her you know!"
"...I told you the day you introduce me to your family the proper way...I'll introduce you to mine"
Frowning I angrily turned away from him. I hated when he was right. Which most of the time he was. Still I didn't give him the benefit of watching me crumble down before him. It's not that I had to always win the fight. Though I had to admit I loved when he apologized even if it wasn't his fault. He reminded me just how much he loves me and cares for me. Especially the sweet tender kisses he would give me to get me to talk to him. I loved that the most.
He hugged me from the waist and pressed his body against mine. Leaning his head onto my shoulder he said "Soon we'll be married and none of this will matter anymore..Because whatever is mine will be yours..You're my everything Jade". . . . Tears began flowing down my cheeks once again as that precious memory replayed in my mind. "Hey are you alright?" A sudden voice startled me causing me to quickly stand up. Clearing my thoughts and wiping my tears away I replied "Yeah..I am..Thanks for asking". I turned to look at the person who had worriedly asked me if I was okay. A slim green eyed girl with blonde hair stood in front of me while carrying in her arms the white fluffy dog.
