Cedric insisted I get blindfolded for his big surprise. After being cooped up inside bed all morning I felt tired and a bit weak. However I had a feeling his surprise would definitely be one I would never forget just like he said. He had the brightest cheerful smile I had never seen in him. His eyes glowed in a different way. There was something strange going on with him but all in a good way.
"Are we there yet?"
"Not yet"
"Now?"
"Haha my love have patience we are almost there"
"I smell nature..Where are we?"
"Okay enough with the questions..You can open your eyes now"
I gasped in total amazement watching the beautiful scenery that was right in front of me. There was a lake with gorgeous swans relaxing in the water. The smell of pure nature filled my lungs and satisfied me completely. The sun lighted warmly upon us while there was a soft breeze of fresh air caressing our bodies.
"Come sit with me Jade"
He spread his legs so I can sit in the middle. While we sat in the grass admiring the stunning view he caressed my hair.
"Jade..Do you ever want to have kids?"
"What?" I said feeling a bit confused about his sudden question.
"I'm just curious that's all"
"Um....Well I'm not sure...I..I don't know"
"You wouldn't want a child with me?"
"It's just too soon Cedric..I want to enjoy these moments alone with you a little longer"
"Well our alone time is ticking.."
"What? Why?"
"My love...You're 12 weeks pregnant..You're going to make me a Father"
"WHAT!?" I turned around to look at him while he smiled from ear to ear.
"I thought I felt weird but....Oh my gosh..Cedric I'm going to be a mom!?"
"Yes my darling we're going to be parents to a lovely child that will be loved immensely"
"Oh my gosh Cedric!! We're going to have a baby!"

He held me closer to him and sweetly whispered into my ear "I didn't think my love for you could grow any deeper...Until now".
We spent a couple hours enjoying the sun and peaceful scenery. I couldn't believe I was going to be a mother. Inside of me a little human-being was forming. I touched my stomach wondering if my baby would feel me. Cedric noticed and he immediately rested his hand upon mine. We didn't speak all we did was hold one another until late evening arrived and the fresh air turned cold.
