It was just like before. A shadow. Not transparent, but solid black, with its edges like black fire. And tiny circular eyes, glowing, contrasting against its body. It slowly raised its arm, pointing at me.

No one saw it. Only me.

Blue eyes dug his fangs in my neck, a shock of pain striking in. I bolted my head backwards and tightened my fists. My eyes tearing up. Then the shadowy figure stood beside my head, looking down at me with those piercing white eyes.

That's when things got stranger. Not a second had passed, I had somehow ended up under water. I couldn't breath. I couldn't come up to the surface. I had taken a back seat in my own body, while my body began moving on its own.

It had somehow gotten its hands and feet free from the rope. Blue eyes immediately reacted to what had just happened pinning my body to the floor with his hand against my neck, trying to choke me. I could feel the pain rushing in, but I couldn't do anything. His nails piercing my skin, puncturing more holes, choking me.

Then, finally my body moved. It grabbed his hand, nails burying in his skin. Blue eyes looked into my eyes, baffled by what was happening. How could a human possess such strength? Those were the words going through his mind. I, on the other hand, tried to wrap my finger on who took over my body. I was supposed to see their faces now, but it was still a shadow for some reason.

My body pushed him off, throwing him against the wall. He stumbled to his feet, looking up with angry eyes, his teeth poking out as he snarled at me.

The window beside him shattered into pieces as Vivianne busted in, throwing knives at their feet as soon as her feet hit the ground. The vampires rushed to attack her but she was quick on her feet as she straightened her back and kicked the first approaching pest, knocking him unconscious as the back of her boot met his chin. A shot entered the room, piercing the vampire that was about to pounce from behind her. She took a second to notice, then continued fighting.

Meanwhile, I was still trapped inside my own body, trying to fight my way to the front, but it was no use. My body started to take a few steps back, towards the side door but suddenly my back found a surface. I turned around, finding Michael's broad chest against my nose. I pounced back as if it sensed danger. I sneered at him with clenched teeth and fisted hands.

Michael immediately grabbed both my arms which led to my arms flailing uncontrollably, while he tried hard to not let go. He narrowed his eyes, stooping to my level to look into my eyes. He looked at me as if he saw a monster. He looked angry yet scared at the same time. What on earth was he seeing?

"Leave her." Michael whispered in a low but stern voice.

It took a while until my arms calmed down. I took a deep breath, noticing I had regained control over my body and Michael stopped looking at me with that face. His lips stretched into a smile, tapping one of my shoulders before he walked passed me to inspect the scene.

Vivianne was collecting and wiping off the blood from her knives, placing them back in the side pocket of her boots. I placed my hand over my neck, feeling blood smearing against my hand as I began walking towards the others. Every vampire unconscious or dead, except for Blue Eyes. He was nowhere to be found.
