Part One of Dianne's Birthday...

Joe's POV:
'Today is Dianne's birthday and I've got a little surprise for her' I told my viewers as quietly as I could. I'd been up all night wrapping presents and writing little riddle style notes so she would have a fun birthday in quarantine. It's bad enough that she can't see her family but because of the virus, she can't see anyone and she's stuck indoors.

Dianne's POV:
I woke up to Joe telling me to get dressed and to follow him. I sprung up and put on the outfit I had chosen the night before. I didn't care that I was stuck inside, I was just happy to spend it with the person I love. Joe told me to close my eyes as he led me down the stairs to the lounge. I opened my eyes and there were colourful balloons everywhere and I could see the effort he had put in.
On the counter, there was a note that Joe kept hinting at; he kept pretending to cough to get my attention. I ran over to the note which had 'Dianne' written on the front and started to read it out loud.

"Happy Birthday, your getting old! Let's have a game of hot or cold".

Joe's POV:
Dianne ran round the house, looking for the first present with excitement and anticipation on her face. It was hidden in the wardrobe of the spare bedroom and it took her a good 3 minutes to find it. She frantically unwrapped the present to reveal three Power Puff Girl cropped tie-dye T-Shirts, each with a different Power Puff Girl on the front. They came in 3 colours; pink, blue and green. There was also a pair of Power Puff Girl trousers inside and she quickly tried them on before moving on to the next riddle.
She somehow managed to lose the next riddle and I pretended to end the vlog to mess with Dianne . The second riddle read:

"Isn't it time for a morning dose? You'll find me where you make your toast".

Dianne's POV:
I sprinted towards the kitchen where a massive present was sat on the counter with another little note. Inside was a Nespresso Machine; exactly what I wanted! I felt so lucky that I have someone in my life that knows me so well. I thanked him for my present and looked closer at the third riddle:

"This present is from my mum, you'll find it where you wipe your bum".

Joe's POV:
I followed her with the camera as she sprinted to the bathroom where she pulled out a giant present from next to the toilet and set it down on the table football table. She quickly removed the foil paper to reveal an electric hand whisk. She was so excited because it meant she could make whipped coffee easier. The clue was still on the floor in the bathroom so I reminded Dianne that she didn't have it. She ran back to get it and read out the next riddle:

"The place where we keep our key, you'll find your gift from Andrew and Melski".

Dianne's POV:
I sprinted to the kitchen counter again and checked the box we keep the house keys in. Before I could open it, Joe stopped me and said that the printer ink broke and he had to show me on a pdf file instead. Once his phone was inside, I opened the box up to realise I got an adopt a peacock subscription! I adopted a sloth last year so I was very excited. I picked up the white slip of paper and read out the next riddle:

"If you run a lot, be careful of dehydration. You will find this next one in isolation".

Joe's POV:
She couldn't think of where it could be until it finally clicked in her head; isolation uncle, the fake version of Big Brother that I made up in the tent I bought her for Christmas. She crawled in and pulled out a shoe box with the brightest pair of running shoes I could find. The excitement on her face was massive and you could see she was so happy when she saw them. The next riddle was on the floor besides her and it read:

"This present hunt is making me hungry, you could call me a genet. Your next present is under the planet".

Dianne's POV:
I knew exactly where to go, under the globe on the little table. Joe had ran out of wrapping paper but I didn't care. There were some delicious looking pick-and-mix sweets with a make your own New York cookies kit. This was the best birthday ever and it had only just begun! The new riddle read:

"That concludes the present hunt, it was really fun to see. Oh wait there's one more left, in the room you stole from me".

Joe's POV:
She ran to the walk-in-wardrobe and couldn't find the present. It took some time for her to find it and she ran into the bedroom with the present in hand. It was the style of jacket she loves and she had been wanting for so long. I was so happy she loved it. So far, her birthday seemed a success and I was just hoping I could keep it that way...
