Napamulat si Chase nang marinig ang mahinang pagtunog ng cellphone nya sa katabing bedside table. Marahil ay Reminder iyon para sa mga kailangan niyang icheck na emails ngayong araw. He looked at the clock beside his cellphone, alas singko palang pala ng umaga.
He then glanced at his sleeping wife's face. Nakasandal ang ulo nito sa kanyang dibdib habang nakayakap naman ang isa niyang kamay sa bewang nito.
A smile formed from his lips while he remembered their first night. He never thought that he will fall in love again. Akala niya hindi na siya matututong magmahal ulit after nilang mag-break ni Margaux.
He was shattered into pieces and the wounds that Margaux left did not completely heal. But when Zam came into his life, it's like all of his broken pieces stick back together. He may not be very vocal about it but he really treasures Zam.
Kaya nga niya nagawang mag-hold back ng halos ilang buwan before he made Zam his. He looked at Zam again and planted a kiss on her forehead before he went to sleep again.
Nang magmulat ulit siya ng mata ay tirik na tirik na ang araw. Napansin niya din na wala na siyang katabi, marahil ay nasa baba ni si Zam at nagluluto dahil naamoy niya ang niluluto nitong bacon.
Nagpasya na siyang bumangon at tumayo. He just fixed their bed at dumerecho na sa kanilang bathroom para maligo.
After 10 minutes ay lumabas na din siya at dali daling bumaba. Naabutan niya na nagsasalin ng juice ito sa kanilang baso.
"Good Morning, Chase!" masaya nitong bati sa kanya.

Tinabihan na niya ito at nagsimula na silang kumain.
"Ah Chase, hmm.. May mga gusto lang ako itanong sayo." panimula nito.
Nilunok niya muna ang pagkain bago ito sinagot. "What is it?" he asked with so much curiosity. Makulit ito minsan pero straight forward itong magtanong at hindi na nanghihingi ng permiso niya. Marahil ay seryoso ang itatanong nito.
"Hmmm..Could I ask you things about myself?" she asked casually.
"What? I don't get it." nakakunot noo niyang sagot. He is not taking her question literally.
"Ahmm...Parang how well do you know me.." explain nito. Nakuha naman niya agad ang gusto nitong sabahin.
Tumango tango siya para ipaalam dito na naiintindihan na niya ang sinasabi nito.
"Why, Honey?" tanong ulit niya. "I just wanted to know how much you are paying attention to me." natatawa nitong sagot.
Napangisi siya. "So you think I don't know much about you."
"Hmm, honestly, yes. I assume that you are not noticing the little things." she said honestly.
He knows that she is aware na pinaimbestigahan niya ito after ng first meeting nila. But she's right, he might not have noticed the little things about her.
"Then try me." challenge niya dito.
Nakita niya na naexcite ito ng sakyan niya ang gusto ng asawa.
"First question. What is my Full name?" tanong nito.
Ibinaba niya ang tinidor nya sa sobrang dali ng tanong nito. "Too easy, Honey. Aeriel Zamantha Gutierrez-Montenegro." he said proudly.
He saw so much happiness on her face dahil sa sagot niya. Lalo na ng mabanggit niya ang Montenegro. "Wow!! Akala ko di mo alam e."
"You go by Zam but some of your acquaintances call you Aeriel. People closest to you sometimes call you Zamantha." dagdag pa niya.
