(Jessica's POV)

(Jessica will be wearing a red top that says 'FEARLESS', a leather jacket, a black netted choker and some black boots.)

There I was! My new school: Francoise Dupont High School. I was kind of nervous; new people, new friends. See, I was more of an introvert growing up, so my family moving from America to Paris wasn't really much appreciated by me. In America, not many people in my school knew me personally; I was just known as the quiet and shy kid who could get scary and aggressive sometimes. That's just my nature. What can I do about it? I had a best friend and I actually found myself opening up to her a lot, but not enough to tell her my secret! That's right, I have a secret! And I'll find the right time to tell you, not now.

I climbed up the beige stairs up to the school entrance, took a deep breath, and stepped in. I did want to make a good impression on my first day by being early, so I saw the lobby was pretty empty. So, I went to explore the school since I had some time to spare. The school looked very magnificent compared to my old school. As the bell rang, I headed to the principal's office for my schedule.

Me: Mr Damocles, I'm Jessica Masters, the new student.

Mr Damocles (the principal): Ah yes, Ms Masters, welcome to Francoise Dupont High School! I have your schedule right here. Your first lesson is poetry by Ms Bustier. Let me escort you to your classroom.

The classroom was actually very close to the principal's office. We went in and Mr Damocles introduced me to the class. I saw that everyone had a tablemate, which meant that everyone already made friends! Oh this is going to be a tough year!

Mr Damocles: Everyone, this is Jessica Masters and she would be joining the class from now on.

I noticed a blonde-haired girl sitting at the front was rolling her eyes at me and I guessed she was not happy with me joining her class. I just made a mental note to stay out of her way.

Ms Bustier: Mylene, would you please move and sit beside Ivan. Jessica, you can sit beside Alix. If you are uncomfortable with the seating just voice out to me alright?

I nodded and took the seat beside Alix. The learning here was different too. Instead of books, papers and pens, this school used ipads and styluses. I guess that was efficient; instead of carrying 4 books for 4 lessons, I would just have an ipad. Smart! Instead of letting my mind wander, I started to focus on the lesson.

As Ms Bustier continued on about poetry, I wasn't able to follow since I couldn't find the notes in my ipad.

Alix: Hey, are you lost? Do you need any help?

Me: Ya I can't find the notes for this lesson.

Alix took my ipad and started tapping around and she found my notes for me. I thanked her and I went on to focus on the poetry lesson.

(time skip to lunch)(Jessica's POV)

I have no one to sit with for lunch. I knew this came with being the new kid; lonely lunches. I got out by lunch bag and went to the canteen to eat. I took the bench at the corner and began munching on my lunch. I saw a big group of people, I recognised them from my class earlier today. They were all having fun talking and eating together! I wondered how long it would take for me to fit in and find myself a best friend. Feeling bored, I plugged myself into my phone and started listening to Little Mix, my favourite girl group. I felt myself forgetting every problem that was in my head at that time and was fully engrossed in the music. I even started humming and softly singing some parts.

(Marinette's POV)

Me: Adrien's there with Nino and the guys! Can we go?

Alya: You go, girl! I'm not gonna fit into the boy talk!
