Budding Romance?

Marinette's POV

"Guess who could make it for the party?"

"I am Ms Lullaby, here to put you to the sleep of the eternity!"

Me: Uh oh! Looks like Hawk Moth struck again! Everybody go hide in the rooms!

I ran and hid behind a pyramid of barrels.

Me: Tikki! Spots on!

I transformed and used my yoyo to get to the top of the ship. I tried to use my yoyo to grab her, but she was too quick. Then, she used her voice to sing a lullaby. I looked down to see that all my friends were dropping to the ground like flies. Soon enough, my eyes started to get heavier. But, I managed to fight it and get as far away from her as possible until I come up with a plan.

Me: Where are Cat Noir and Draculea when I need them most?

Cat Noir: Looking for me?

Me: Yes. This new villain is using nothing but her voice to knock everyone out.

Draculea: Ya, her voice is in some special frequency that puts everyone into deep sleep. And look, she is also sucking their souls into her ring. That must be where the akuma is!

Cat Noir: Great, so all we have to do is break that ring and our job here is done!

Me: I'm afraid it is not that easy, Kitty. We also need to avoid hearing that song, so we don't fall asleep.

Draculea: I don't see any way that we can do that. Maybe your lucky charm can help.

I summoned my lucky charm and a bag of cotton dropped into my arms.

Cat Noir: That sure looks comfy but how does it help in this situation!

Just then, an idea struck me. I tore open the bag and rolled a few pieces of cotton into a ball and stuffed it into my ear.

Me: This way, we won't hear her music.

I rolled the cotton into similar balls and handed Draculea and Cat Noir two each.

Draculea: Now we can fight her without hearing the music, true. But, how will we communicate?

Me: We will just have to use hand signals, won't be easy, but we have to try!

The three of us moved to the akumatised villain who was spreading her music to all of Paris.

Cat Noir: Why don't you pick on someone your own size?

Ms Lullaby: Look who we have here! The little kitty, the ladybug and the creepy vampire!

Ms Lullaby: Time to go to sleep, heroes!

Hawk Moth: That's it, Ms Lullaby! Put them to sleep and get their miraculouses! I can feel it! This is the day I am victorious!

Ms Lullaby began to sing but it did not affect us. With Cat Noir's cataclysm and Draculea's mind control, we fought Ms Lullaby and released the akuma. Finally, the job was done. I watched triumphantly as the butterfly flew away. All of a sudden, my miraculous started beeping.

Me: Well, looks like my time is up. Bug out!

I went back home after saying goodbye to my two teammates.

Draculea's POV

Mine and Cat Noir's miraculouses have not beeped yet. So we hung out at the top of the Le Grand Paris hotel. I sat on one of the lounge chairs while Cat Noir was at the railings, admiring the full moon and the shimmering stars.

Cat Noir: You know, that save was awesome!

He walked to me and sat beside me on my lounge chair.

Me: What did you expect from the one and only Draculea?

I turned to look at him and saw his emerald green eyes shine in the moonlight. I could swim in that sea of tranquillity he calls eyes! Wait, I can't feel like this; I have a boyfriend! I pushed those indulging thoughts aside and tried to focus on what he was saying; emphasis on tried. We started talking more about the save and then we grew quiet.

We turned our heads simultaneously to face each other and I felt Cat Noir leaning in. I sat rooted to the chair, mesmerised by his glowing green eyes.

As our lips crashed together, I heard a click from somewhere, followed by rustling of bushes. I pushed Cat Noir aside and ran to the bushes at the side. Nobody. But I heard a click.

Me: Did you hear that, Kitty?

Cat Noir: Hear what? I didn't hear or see anything over your beauty. How about we continue where we left off?

Me: But I heard someth-

I got interrupted by Cat Noir's lips. Soon, I started to forget about the sound, and enjoy myself in the once in a lifetime kiss.
