Adrien's POV

Marinette... Marinette was Ms Paris! She is such a calm and composed girl! I don't know what has gotten into her?

Then, I noticed Draculea staring at Marinette wide-eyed.

Me: Drac, what are you doing? De-evilise the akuma before it escapes!

She comes out of the stance she was in and reaches for her yoyo.

Jessica's POV

I reached for my yoyo to de-evilise the akuma. In the place where I would usually find an oval-shaped toy, I felt soft, leather. Oh no! I titled my head only to see that the yoyo is not there! I started to panic. If there is no yoyo, how do I get rid of the akuma? The akuma will akumatise another person or, heck, even Marinette again! This is all my fault! How did I ever think I could be a good Ladybug?

But, crying over spilt milk is no use. So, I decided to go to Master Fu to ask for help.

Me: I have a thing... at a place... right now... so you take care of Mari- that girl and I'll be going. Bye!

Cat Noir: Huh? But the akuma!?

Cat Noir stared at me in confusion as I left in search of Master Fu's help. Master Fu trusted me, and I broke that trust. He is going to be so mad at me! I rushed to an alley to detransform.

Me: Deni, fangs in!

I stared at my Ladybug self.

Me: You know, Deni, I don't look bad in Ladybug's outfit! The red really makes my eyes pop!

Deni: Focus, Jess, we need to get to Master Fu.

Me: Right! Tikki, spots off!

Tikki: Don't worry, Jessica, Master Fu has a device that can track the yoyo. So, I'm sure he will fnd it.

Me: I sure hope so!

(Time skip to when Jessica, Deni and Tikki reach Master Fu's house)

I took a deep breath before entering the Master's house. I knocked on the door twice and placed a shivering leg into his house. I saw him sitting in a calm, yoga position.

Me: (Takes deep breath) Master Fu, I need to tell you something. I...

Master Fu: Is it that you lost a certain red yoyo?

He held up the black polka dotted red yoyo in his right hand. I felt so relieved I could hug the Master, but umm...

Me: Yes, but how?

Master Fu: I am no magician, but I certainly have my secrets.

Me: Well, I don't know how to thank you for this! I can't imagine the trouble I'd be in if the yoyo was totally lost! Thanks again, Master!

Master Fu gave a slight nod in reply and went back to his meditation.

Master Fu: Aren't you forgetting something, Jessica?

Huh? What was I forgetting?

Master Fu: The earrings... and Tikki.

Oh right! I took off my earrings and placed it beside the music player. Then, I left Master Fu to his meditation and quietly slipped out of his house.

I felt like a huge weight has been lifted off from my shoulders!

Deni: Now, it's time to go home and do some homework!

Me: No, no, don't you remember, I'm supposed to meet Zayn (checking watch) 10 minutes ago!

I started to rush back home.

Deni: Relax, Jess, I'm sure he won't mind if you are a few minutes late.

Me: You don't understand! I have blown him off so many times because I'm you know who. It's been so long since I saw him.

I ran at the speed of light to reach Zayn's house.

(At Master Fu's house)

Tikki's POV

Me: Why did you deal with the problem so calmly? The akuma is still out there and it could get Marinette again!

Master Fu: Which is why you should go to Marinette and protect her from the akuma!

Me: Right, I'll be going then!

I cannot believe that Ladybug herself got akumatised. Luckily, I managed to snatch Marinette's earrings just as she was getting akumatised. If not, Ladybug could never be saved! It's just that the 8th grade dance is coming up next week and Marinette asked Adrien to the dance. But, turns out, Chloe already asked him to the dance and insulted Marinette about not being good enough for Adrien. That was what made her feel so bad about herself that she got akumatised! I feel bad for Marinette!

(Back at Zayn's house)

Jessica's POV

I finally reached Zayn's house. I stood at his doorway, panting for breath. I only ran half a mile, but physical exersice is not really my thing. Allowing myself some time to catch my breath, I rang the doorbell. Catching a glimpse of my watch, I got the shock of my life! I was 30 minutes late! Zayn was going to be so mad! Then, the door opened to reveal the glowing, smiling face of Zayn's mother, Mrs Carter.

Ms Carter: Oh, hey sweetie!

She opened the door a little wider to let me in.

Ms Carter: Not to drive you away or anything but Zayn didn't tell me that you will be coming...

Me: Oh, really?

I was kind of hurt that he didn't tell about our meeting to his mom. Did he forget about it? No, no, he would have just forgot to inform his mother. I pondered as I climbed the staircase to his room. As I stood in front of his room, my heart beat started to speed up in excitement. I raised a hand to knock on his door twice and opened the door. I let myself into the dark room and saw a silhouette of two bodies pressed against each other. I hoped for the best and switched the light on. The bright light spread through the room. I couldn't believe my eyes!

Me: Zayn?!
